If both Drake songs debuted in the top 10, would that make him the first artist in a while to have two songs debut there on the same week? You know this is actually a good question - I honestly don't know if this has been done before. Lots of instances of 2 songs debuting in the top 10 in the same week. None by the same artist.

SO ANYWAYS, where do you all think "Pop Style" will debut at and where do you think "One Dance" will debut at? It seems like Pop Style is slowing, One Dance hasn't yet, so both in the 10's or 20's? That's my best guess...

Something tells me neither Drake track is going to debut and peak at the same time, so I'm not all that focused on where they'll debut this week. Good chance for a video for at least one of the songs - and airplay isn't much of a factor yet. They are exclusive to iTunes right now as far as I can tell.

I found David cook had a song debut at 3 and a song debut at 15 in the same week. Has anyone found anyone who has come closer to two top ten debuts in the same week ?

What do you know - there are still 'real' H100 records to be had. It's kind of amazing this hasn't happened in digital era. Hmmm. It's interesting because this obviously has happened several times on B200. Now I want to know what has come closest to this happening.

I can think of the closest might be Taylor Swift having three consecutive weeks debuting at top 10: Begin Again #7 (10/13/2012) Red #6 (10/20/2012) I Knew You Were Trouble #3 (10/27/2012) By the way, three songs debuted top 10 in the same week: Live While We're Young at #3, Red at #6 and Skyfall at #8.

Someone answer this for me, I would love to know: How in the hell did PILLOWTALK resurge on iTunes? I am very happy to see it, but I just don't what caused it to suddenly gain back up to #5 on iTunes.

Other than that, he performed on he iHeart Music Awards (albeit a different song, I'm sure his exposure still helped PILLOWTALK on some level)... and the continued radio increases are probably helping, too.

21 straight weeks in the Top 10 after debuting in that region. Starships first set the bar, then Sugar, WDYM?, and Sorry each tied it. LY just might be the song that breaks that record. It's such a random record to generate this much attention. Just because it's held by Nicki Minaj.

Artists rarely release two songs in the same week, so it isn't surprising that multiple top 10 debuts by the same artist hasn't happened. Plenty of artists could have done it over the years had they released multiple new songs the same week.

J-Lo's single is dropping tomorrow. Do you guys think it will take off or will On The Floor be her last ever top ten hit?

J-Lo's single is dropping tomorrow. Do you guys think it will take off or will On The Floor be her last ever top ten hit? Booty proved that with the right gimmick, she can at least make a splash for a week... but ultimately she's no different than anyone else who isn't part of today's youthful class of pop stars... US pop radio is unlikely to support her anymore. Exceptions happen and are surely welcomed. Gwen is getting small-to-medium love from Pop, which is more than I expected, despite her solo career only being 10 years old. And more than radio, it's the labels that don't give these artists the support they need. They are basically only around for one single and then it's game over... unless it smashes. And even then it's not atypical for labels to be over the era. All of the focus and increasingly shrinking funds go to today's kids.

SIO's chart run is: *1*-1-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-1-1-3-5-4-6-10-11-9-7-9-5-5-9-10......... I'm pretty sure the cop was the week it lifted from 9 to 5, which's 4 weeks after its 1 week departure from top 10.

if it's quality content and/or something really catchy, I hope it can be a smash. I miss the J-Lo days Had that cop's viral vid come a week before it did, SIO would have that record. SIO's chart run is: *1*-1-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-1-1-3-5-4-6-10-11-9-7-9-5-5-9-10......... I'm pretty sure the cop was the week it lifted from 9 to 5, which's 4 weeks after its 1 week departure from top 10. so it would've had to come out 4 weeks earlier then

I remember hearing of a quote by Drake that he apparently said around the time Hotline Bling was peaking that the only accolade he cares about achieving at all is a Hot 100 #1.... Maybe his team doesn't agree?

Maybe his team doesn't agree? I honestly think it's just a matter of avoiding leaks and taking advantage of the big money payouts of all these exclusive deals with Apple, etc. While surely he's capable of debuting at #1, there are other ways of achieving it. They've yet to nail it, obviously. The fact remains, he's had some MASSIVE Hot 100 hits... #1 or not.

wow Drake has Lukas at less than 40% on iTunes! Hoping he can get two top 10 debuts this week (as long as it doesn't prevent Love Yourself from breaking that elusive record since so many songs got 21 and I just want to see one song get 22).

SO ANYWAYS, where do you all think "Pop Style" will debut at and where do you think "One Dance" will debut at? Is either getting airplay or any streaming outside of Apple Music? This is just a random guess, but I would say #8-10 for PS and #13-15ish for OD. I say 8-10 for PS because Piece by Piece debuted at #8 with only some streaming and a tiny amount of airplay but probably a similar sales figure to what Pop Style will get.
