She needs a more upbeat song for a change of pace, IMO.
Send My Love could be that song.

She needs SML for another #1 IMO. If WUTB follows, i am thinking will be #1 too, but I wouldn't be so sure if that one comes first. SML is just screaming for a release.

Here we are picking between "Water Under the Bridge" and "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)", and watch her pick something like "River Lea" lol

I'm on the same page as everyone: Water Under the Bridge or Send My Love. This gap seems huge since When We Were Young has been done forever, and was super underwhelming. Dear god I can't handle her releasing another ballad. Back-to-back ballads was pretty brutal and doesn't show the versatility of the album.

Back-to-back ballads was pretty brutal That's what I said from the beginning and everyone said "this is ADELE we're talking about. She can release anything." Flop

Flop Maybe if she promoted WWWY a bit the situation could be different. She didn't sing that song when she had the oportunity and there's no video either. Anyway, the album has good songs, but in terms of great songs with big potential as singles 25 is very very far from being in 21 level

Listen, if they send "Send My Love," we all know what the song of the summer will be. If they go with "Water on the Bridge," the song of the summer is still up for grabs.

^^^I don't think we would know either way. It's still only mid-April; we may not have even heard the song of the summmer yet. If we have heard it already, I'd be slightly more willing to put my money on One Dance being it...now that I think about that though, this really makes me lean more toward wanting SML to be single #3 because there is clearly an interest in light and airy bops right now and SML fits into that. Back-to-back ballads was pretty brutal That's what I said from the beginning and everyone said "this is ADELE we're talking about. She can release anything." Flop I disagree on two counts - one, WWWY got a top 15 peak on both pop and the Hot 100. That's not a "flop" to me, even though it did peak way below most most people's expectations. As a comparison, I'd say it's more similar to an Umbrella-->Shut Up and Drive situation than it would be We Found Love-->You Da One. Two, you assume that all other ballads would have also struggled. Based on the consistent reaction to AIA, I feel like it had potential to do something very quickly, and they should have switched singles. The ironic thing here is AIA is stylistically much more similar to Hello's ballad style than WWWY, which felt more like a straightforward midtempo to me. I'll never understand why Adele went on and on about WWWY being her favorite song ever and then paying it dust the second 2015 ended, but I think this quarter of 2016 has taught us that no star is immune to underperforming when there is no promo. WWWY, OOTW/New Romantics, and Company all struggled from lack of effort despite being inarguably the three hottest pop singers out right now and all coming off a level of success that should have guaranteed at least another top 10 airplay hit just off the strength of their name and track record.

It's interesting how split the members of Pulse are with this decision. I really think both of them would make great singles, and I assume both will be released eventually, but WUTB just seems like the better option at this moment.

I'm honestly to the point where I don't care what she releases, just as long as it has a video. Girl could serve me a video with just 2mins of her cursing and I still would be hollering at the screen. Plus, I feel like she needs a fun video to showcase that side to the public.

I feel like "Send My Love" would be the better summer single option as it's more laid-back and breezy. Save WUTB for fall please.

I was so disappointed that "When We Were Young" never got a video. That song is so cinematic and when she mentioned that she'd love to have Todd Haynes direct the video, I was practically thirsting.

IDK how much of an indicator this is, but 'Send My Love' just went top 50 on Hot AC.

Clearly radio is on board with a third single. Just announce something already, Adele.
