Lol. I remember the days when my local newspaper store didn't always get the latest edition of Billboard and id have to go a week, sometimes more without seeing the full charts! You would have to piece together the previous missed charts... I remember in the 80s as a young kid I couldn't afford Billboard so I would go to the local Musicland store and stare at the Hot 100 they had posted by the singles section. I'd also look forward to Rolling Stone magazine every other week for their (outdated) Billboard album and singles charts on the last page. Then in the early 90s (high school years) I was able to go buy Billboard at a bookstore 45 minutes away. Then the internet happened and following the charts became so much easier - but less exciting in many ways. Tangent. If I didn't know better I honestly would have wrote this practically word for word. LoL I guess I wasn't the only one gawking at record store walls or if I was lucky a small local record store may let me read their Billboard. lol Then going to the store to just read, then buy and finally I got a subscription and still do for it. LoL I also know EXACTLY what you mean about the internet being great with getting chart info. but it ruined a lot of fun too. LoL Sorry for the rambling post. |

Ehh. It really depends. I watched a Vine compilation earlier(the stereotypical 10 minute ones)& not one of them had Panda. There's a chance that streams might go down for it

You're not the only one. I can't stand anything that sounds even remotely like Future's god-awful voice. Granted, Panda is like Future's voice watered down to hell with a better flow and beat, so I can't hate it too much, though I certainly don't want it to hit #1. Might grow on me later, but it still has that Future stain on it for now. Certainly better than a lot of other Vine hits, though. As for the airplay chart, wow, the radio seems REALLY eager to get rid of Work. I don't see it surviving another week at #1 with it losing 3 million AI almost every day and 7 Years gaining almost that much.. Looks like everything around it has peaked too, so it's a giant race to the bottom where Work is about to leapfrog everyone. |

Last week "7 Years" trailed "Work" by 22 million impressions on Billboard's tabulations. What did it trail work on the equivalent Mediabase week? Right now "7 Years" trails "Work" by 15.5 million impressions via Mediabase with most of the chart week left. It needs to make up less than 3 million a day to pass "Work," and it's doing more than that at this point. So, "7 Years" could easily lead in both downloads and airplay on the next chart. It will then depend on streaming, of course, which is harder to predict.
