Today is the day, guys... the day where we finally enter the final quarter of this countdown! The final 50! The top 50 songs of all time!!! The 50 songs that have meant the most to me over the past two years (well, minus the songs that have debuted towards the recent months, because they haven't had the time to garnish enough points to make it so high except for a few exceptional songs)
However, last update only went through #56, so let's first get through #55 through #51...
#55: Hailee Steinfeld featuring DNCE - Rock Bottom
Era: mid/late 5 through early/mid 6 (into a bit of late 6) Peak: 5 Weeks in Top 100: 26+ (As of week 100) Weeks in Top 10: 14 Points: 793574
"Oh, we're on the right side of rock bottom And I hope that we keep falling We're on the good side of bad karma 'Cause we keep on coming back for more"

#52. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
Era: First grew on me when it was first released, then a few times between then and 2015, then during the very end of era 1, through 2, and very early 3. Small regrowth came in very late 4/very early 5 Peak: 15 Weeks in Top 100: 67 Weeks in Top 10: N/A Points: 816390

The song that was just one position off from becoming part of the top 50 songs of all time from weeks 1 - 100... and the sad part is... if this song just got one more week on my chart (or if the cutoff for this countdown is week 101), this song would surely make top 50 of all time... In addition, the song is dropping out soon, so sadly this song may never see itself inside the top 50 of all time except in a few unofficial all time charts (Weeks 1 - 101, 102, 103, etc. before it gets overwhelmed out of the top 50). This song is... #51: G-Eazy x Bebe Rexha: Me, Myself & I
Era: 4, regrew on me in mid/late 5 to early 6 Peak: 10 Weeks in Top 100: 47+ (As of week 100) Weeks in Top 10: 2 Points: 829952 *Highest song with a peak of exactly 10 (there will be non-top 10's ahead of it, though)*
"I don't need anything to get me through the night Except the beat that's in my heart Yeah, it's keeping me alive I don't need anything to make me satisfied 'Cause the music does me good and it gets me every time" I LOVE the lyrics to this song - it kinda describes my life and my social issues I'm facing in 2016! I love almost all the lines, and the lines above are literally the chant I use to get me through the worst times socially in 2016... it reminds me that even if everyone turns against me and all (which kinda happened in multiple times this year), I really don't need anything except music and the beat that's in my heart. Although it's kinda egocentric, but to a guy that's been treated so poorly by peers due to all the f***ing stupid competition going on... what an inspirational line... Also fun fact: I live in the same county G-Eazy grew up in! Alameda County, California! The county of the crime city of Oakland, gateway to the Silicon Valley: Fremont, one of California's most famous wine countries as well as the location of one of the world's most famous and important nuclear labs: Livermore, one of the most prestigious public universities: Berkeley... man is this county so diverse although it's one of the smaller ones in California... Not telling you guys which section of the county I live in though "Me, Myself & I" is so special to me... yet there are still 50 songs that did better on my personal chart over the first 100 weeks I had a chart... Guys, we are entering the final quarter of the personal chart. This is where everything gets awesome... Be prepared, as this ride is about to get intense... Top 50 songs of all time, here we come. #44: Adele - When We Were Young
Era: mid/late 4 through early 5 Peak: 5 Weeks in Top 100: 36 Weeks in Top 10: 9 Points: 861139
The absolute BEST song from 25 and one of her bests ever... Too bad it wasn't a hit... as it should've outperformed Send My Love and even Hello. In my mind, this is the song that should get the record breaking debut and 10 weeks at #1.
"Let me photograph you in this light, in case it is the last time That we might be exactly like we were, before we realized We were sad of getting old, It made us restless Oh I'm so mad I'm getting old, It makes me reckless It was just like a movie, It was just like a song When we were young"

So as most of you probably know, I just came back from Alaska. I was preparing to get this countdown finished and then start the 2016 YE countdown, but unfortunately with me behind on my personal chart as well and school starting soon, I'm going to have to reveal the top 40 in a different way... Like what Born in '89 did last year, I will not post the top 40 one by one. Instead, I will post the video for the top 200 songs of all time I uploaded WAY back - back when I still used the old format, for you guys to view. Feel free to watch the entire top 200 or just the top 40. I highly recommend you watch the entire top 200 because I started posting this countdown way back before Thanksgiving '16, and now it's after New Years '17, so you probably all forgot what was #200, #199, etc. But of course, the video's 45 minutes... Hopefully y'all enjoy the rest of the countdown! And I won't give any spoilers just now for those that want to be surprised And remember, if you wanna comment on the top 40, be sure to use the spoiler function on here! All I want to say is... Predictable No. 1 lol yeah, tbh I thought so too, but look at the poll After all the #1 song beat the #2 by like 500k points, equivalent to the point value of songs in the mid 80s (When I Think About You and Love Yourself). That song was absolutely massive on my chart.
