Beyonce is doing exactly what I hoped/thought she would do to help promote a single -- releasing an element of the Lemonade film as a standalone music video, thus getting new press/attention (despite not *really* being new material). I'll be curious if this has a big impact on the song's chart success. Do we know if there's any possibility of Sorry becoming available on more streaming services? Maybe it will be like like Adele's 25 where she just released the singles only on Spotify and now the full album is available there. So that might happen with Lemonade eventually. They can afford to do so anyway

The rise of Cheap Thrills is good timing though, it's perfect for summer season
As for Lady GaGa, I agree that she has peaked already but I think there's still a shot she can get a top 5 song, we'll never know for sure. Jennifer Lopez did get another top 3 song after years of not having a hit (although after On The Floor, it's back to usual again for JLo chart wise)

Lady Gaga is young enough and talented enough to have another hit, or even several hits. She's also done a good job of keeping her name out there and even building some credibility.

Yeah after the Artpop backlash and disappointment, she did manage to somehow reinvent herself plus that epic year-long Oscar campaign and TV gig kept her in the limelight

^ Yeah, hope she doesn't wait too long though. It's in danger of fading.

I hope Sweatshirt falls off the Hot 100 for good this week, but I think that won't happen.

What happened that Like I'm Gonna Lose You jumped a lot!? the "***" next to the title indicates that it added a format, so it must have been that (but it's not really accurate when this happens, as kworb says)

Wasn't Bey's last album withheld from Spotify for a while as well?

Wasn't Bey's last album withheld from Spotify for a while as well? Yeah, I think that's why DIL never hit #1.

I can't wait to see what Ravi thinks about the 7-9 race! And Sweatshirt! That race is still unclear... I have all the three in the 23.1-23.3k range.... so you can guess how close it is!

I'm trying to figure out how this song is even worth wondering about this week? Sales are very minimal, I don't see it on the Spotify or Youtube charts, and radio isn't playing it on any significant level. It managed #90 last week - I don't see any reason to believe it will make any gains or even stay on the chart. Am I missing something?

Predictions: Rank | Song | Sales | Airplay | Streams | Points | 1 | One Dance | 85 | 160 | 21.5 | 43,300 | 2 | Can't Stop The Feeling | 115 | 160 | 11.0 | 38,000 | 3 | Panda | 55 | 60 | 26.5 | 34,200 | 4 | Don't Let Me Down | 65 | 125 | 15.0 | 32,200 | 5 | This is What You Came For | 80 | 90 | 15.0 | 30,400 | 6 | Cheap Thrills | 80 | 80 | 11.5 | 26,500 | 7-9 | Don't Mind | 45 | 80 | 13.0 | 23,800 | 7-9 | Work From Home | 40 | 75 | 14.0 | 23,600 | 7-9 | Needed Me | 35 | 60 | 16.0 | 23,200 | 10/11 | Ride | 60 | 70 | 9.5 | 21,500 | 10/11 | I Took A Pill in Ibiza | 35 | 85 | 10.5 | 21,100 | 12 | Just Like Fire | 60 | 90 | 5.5 | 20,200 |
* TIWYCF moves into Top-5 this week, while Cheap Thrills should get #6. * It's a close battle for #7-9, but I think "Don't Mind" has the slight edge. * Ride is looking to enter Top-10, but it has tough competition from ITAPII, which is showing excellent staying power.

Looks like potential panel increases and/or AI recalibration.

Looks like potential panel increases and/or AI recalibration. For sure. If you look at genre radio charts - it's obvious with entire formats trending either up or down. POP is big winner, Country loses, etc. I still find it hard to believe that any radio format would see large audience gains considering all the alternative ways of listening. I mean if I don't have SIRIUS in my rental, I just plug in Spotify. It's rare terrestrial radio gets a chance - it's still far too commercial heavy to be worth my time.

It'll be interesting to see how this affects future album sales and singles performance.

As for Lady GaGa, I agree that she has peaked already That's an understatement. The biggest hit of her career in almost every country in the world was Poker Face, which was released almost 8 years ago. Bad Romance failed to match the success of Poker Face in almost every country and her decline has continued since. But yes, it's probably possible for her to get another top 5 hit one day.
