She's looking so much better than in the Golden Globes!

She's looking so much better than in the Golden Globes! That's not saying much. This is an improvement, but she's dressing older than she is. Her stylist should fix that.

I think, overall, it's a successful look. It works better in formal, posed photos than the more candid shots. Agreed on the point that it feels like some of the gold trim in the red carpet looks have aged her up a bit. I have liked them on the whole, though.
But I have actually dug some of the looks at her smaller gigs more -- like that leather dress at the 99.5/PLJ show yesterday. I thought that look was fire.

First at the Golden Globes, now at the Grammys.. why does she look like a before from a hair conditioner commercial? Weird dress, but it's Kelly.
Her glow makes up for for her styling. She definitely has more body confidence than during her PBP era!

She looks nice herself, but that dress is something my 60 year old mother would pick out to wear to a wedding. But, overall not the worst of the night as far as looks go ha ha.

The dress is really pretty IMO, she just needs to lose the Dynasty cape that came with it. She's the featured pic at the top of Time's article about the white rose/Time's Up movement - Brandon and Atlantic are really slaying the lowkey media placement this era. (Of course, there is then a really ironic and awkward seque from her to soundbites from stars at Clive's pre-Grammy party but ah, what can ya do? His will be the fete of fetes until he's six feet under.)

I think she looks beautiful tonight. The detail on the dress is unreal.
This was funny:

I don't like that look on her. Too matronly for me.

I don't like that look on her. Too matronly for me. Me either. Looks like something someone much older would be wearing. She looked so amazing last night. I know she needed something more formal but they could have found something that kept her looking young, flattered her body and worked for the Red Carpet.

Ed Sheeran won beating all the chicks. Ed was a obvious choice. By far the most commercially successful song of the bunch. I thought they might go with Kesha but not an upset in the least.

I’m just glad they aired it already so I don’t have to keep flipping back from Atlanta housewives

I figured it would be as in the past they had Pop Vocal/Solo as the first award. I am just not in touch with current music these days, not really interested in most of the performances or nominees. I will check out the ones that everyone is still talking about tomorrow.

Please delete the following posts and put them in The Ungrateful Ginger's thread. Thanks! Ed Sheeran won beating all the chicks. Ed was a obvious choice. By far the most commercially successful song of the bunch. I thought they might go with Kesha but not an upset in the least.

I guess the good news is that most of the big awards were Atlantic artists. Hopefully that will be KC next year? Just need to get a big hit and some more momentum rolling first.

Yeah, that Atlantic voting bloc is clearly a BEAST. Only problem is possibly running up against Cardi B...

I'd rather "I Don't Think About You (Remix) (feat. Cardi B)" and follow it up with "Whole Lotta Woman (Remix) (feat. Missy Elliott)." I'm being extremely sarcastic about IDTAY, but Missy on WLM could actually work.

Oh, I don't expect Kelly to pick up major category nominations. I would LOVE to be wrong but unless a single comes along to put this album front and center of everyone's minds again then that isn't happening. I have my fingers crossed for a Pop Album nomination and another Pop Solo for whichever single they decide to send.
By the way, did anyone notice how they have a Country Song category? Would be nice if they had that for Pop. I wonder why Country gets a song-writing category, do any of the other genres have their own song-writing category?

Y'all we need a hit before we can start forecasting any Grammy nominations/wins/competition. She's obviously a pop panel favorite but I don't think PBP (album) would have received that nomination at all if she didn't have that amazing viral moment with PBP (single).

Didn’t PxP (album) and HBS receive their nominations before her Idol performance?
