Just got a FB message that new music is coming! What does it say? It was from Kelly’s Facebook page and it just said that new music was coming soon and to click a button to get notifications so you know as soon as it is released/announced. |

So random, but I'm here for it! I just hope she doesn't try singing it in other languages. Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend attempts were awful. She confirmed the versions and said that a couple of them were hard [to record] on Thirsty Thursday. I hope she had competent people to help her with the pronounciation. |

Performing her signature cover song - 18 years ago on American Idol, 7 years ago at the Grammys, and now today. That voice is just as pristine and best in class as ever!

My god. These last few weeks of covers have been A++, and she is really just giving a vocal masterclass daily.
Speaking of which, I’m waiting for “Meet your new instructor. Kelly Clarkson teaches VOCALS” to show up in my news feed any day now. lol

Her cover of “Natural Woman” is the only cover that can sit close to Aretha’s. She kills it every time! Her idol cover is hands down my favorite performance on that show.
“Run To You” fell flat though.
And when did she stop singing in the audience and get backup singers???!? Before the covers felt like an after thought. Glad they got a bigger budget.

One thing I noticed about that conversation is when Selena got into the serious part Kelly did a really good job of just listening and letting her finish. We all know she has a tendency to jump in but I was glad to see her be patient and wait. Hopefully she continues to show improvement in that area.

I do hope this is true at some point. The Kellyoke covers on her talk show have been a phenomenal way to illustrate how she truly is the most versatile singer in music today being able to cover virtually every genre flawlessly with still the best vocals in mainstream music. #vocalchameleon4life Hopefully she is releasing a full album and not just an EP with the upcoming project with her single dropping in the next 1-2 weeks. |
