Why she didn't cover a Jessica Simpson song is beyond me - I Think I'm In Love With You (or in my wildest dreams, Sweetest Sin or Irresistible) would have been epic.

Listen do yourself a favor and go listen to the unjustly ignored A Public Affair album. Aside from the 80s pop jams that would smash today (You Spin Me Round and If You Were Mine) it contains inexplicably soulful and reflective jams The Lover in Me (Kelly would SLAY this) and Walkin Round in a Circle. It's criminal these aren't widely known!

They're both Dallas gals who can BELT and were successful in multiple genres. Kelly could slay I Think I'm In Love With You or I Wanna Love You Forever. Even With You would be a super fun cover.

^Another great cover.
It is not just about vocal highlights and high belts. The better she is prepared the better the flow is. The only covers I didn't enjoy were those she was not well prepared for. In those she seemed to be slightly out of rythm and too focused on reading the lyrics from the teleprompter. I believe she's rehearsing more efficiently lately.

Strange things are happening with the TKCS scheduling. I have a feeling with all the panic and hysteria around the virus, the Kelly heavy Spring is going to be a very quiet time for her. This is to say I have a feeling TKCS will going on break (and/or only film without a live studio audience) and the residency/I Dare you/Billboard Awards etc. will all be pushed to Q3/Q4. Which might clear her schedule to go full steam ahead on making the album, which might be the silver lining to that cloud. |

I love them both and they cant do wrong but those songs were dreadful IMO. I know they can better lol. Its excused because it's for a different target audience than me I was thinking more like "Electric Lady" meets "Love So Soft" |

Interesting topic! How is the situation in North America? Some people posted in Team Kelly on Facebook that their TKCS dates were cancelled.
In Europe, several countries have already forbidden events to be held. In Austria,for example, indoor events that include at least 100 people (basically all events) are forbidden for a while. (Poor Avril Lavigne, poor me).
There is definitely a possibility that similar measures will be executed worldwide.
