When was the last time an artist had two songs in the top 3? And If Let Me Love You has even remotely similar stats to Cold Water, then I'm pretty sure Justin will part of the top 2 songs.

Stop trying to make the video for One Dance happen. It's never going to happen. In all seriousness, though, I don't think the video is ever coming. It likely got scraped awhile back. There's been additional shoots since then, so it may be for a mini-film. That said, who knows if chartwise it'll count for OD or another track.

At this point I would think making and putting out a video for "Too Good" would be a higher priority for the label in order for that song to be able to contend for #1 in the coming weeks and months.

I don't think there's been another #1 song in recent memory for which an official video hasn't been released, or even a relatively big top ten hit. Anyone know?

Why would they scrap the One Dance video? There was so much anticipation for it as well as so much money has allegedly already been put into making the video. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Seriously, Bieber will likely have a song at least somewhere on the charts every week until, like, March.

"I don't think there's been another #1 song in recent memory for which an official video hasn't been released." It's not a question of chart points, it's a question of whether there was a video at all.

Let Me Love You is gonna have 2 problems. YouTube (there is a lyric video, but it might not get as much views because it's not official on DJ Snake's channel) and airplay. This is because it's in DJ Snake's album and is just album track (for now), not a single.

Credit to: www.kworb.net/airadio*** indicates that the song dropped or added a format -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The huge losses for Don't Mind continue. Also, if anyone is wondering, "Setting The World On Fire" fell hard because of the 8th day effect (because of the radio deal it seems to have had).

I don't think there's been another #1 song in recent memory for which an official video hasn't been released, or even a relatively big top ten hit. Anyone know? Harlem Shake and Sorry technically. Neither had official videos. One had a viral component and the other just had a lyric video. You could even through Set Fire to the Rain in there if you want to exclude live videos. Which, I don't think that ever was intended to be the video, it just happened. There's also been several cases of songs reaching number one before their videos were released. any other song that also on radio deal? how about closer and mama said? Nothing has a radio deal right now.

Did Nelly/Tim McGraw's "Over and Over" hit No. 1 before the video hit? I recall radio jumping on that one without any official push from the label.

Predictions: Rank | Song | Sales | Airplay | Streams | Points | 1 | Cheap Thrills | 70 | 155 | 14.0 | 35,000 | 2/3 | One Dance | 45 | 140 | 16.0 | 32,300 | 2/3 | This is What You Came For | 45 | 135 | 16.5 | 32,200 | 4/5 | Can't Stop The Feeling | 70 | 130 | 9.5 | 28,700 | 4/5 | Cold Water | 70 | 50 | 19.0 | 28,600 | 6/7 | Don't Let Me Down | 40 | 110 | 14.0 | 27,100 | 6/7 | Ride | 45 | 120 | 12.0 | 27,000 | 8/9 | Closer | 100 | 15 | 16.0 | 25,900 | 8/9 | Needed Me | 35 | 85 | 16.0 | 25,700 | 10 | Send My Love | 45 | 105 | 9.0 | 23,000 |
* Cheap Thrills should remain #1 comfortably, but it is the weakest #1(in terms of points) I have seen in a while.* TIWYCF has a decent shot at reaching #2 this week. Cold Water should stay in Top-5 despite large decline in sales, thanks to streaming. * Closer will debut in Top-10, thanks again to streaming. Maybe this is more evidence that streaming carries too much weight in overall chart points.

It's odd to me radio has dropped "Me Too" despite it being a consistent seller.

It's odd to me radio has dropped "Me Too" despite it being a consistent seller. Same thing that happened with "NO" though that did make it a lot higher; it was just dropped very fast.

"Over and Over" hit No. 1 at Mainstream Top 40- probably what I was thinking of.
As for Spears- it's been nearly 18 years since her debut, so radio will only give her releases a certain level of support, unless the public responds enthusiastically, after the rush of initial sales from the hardcore fanbase settles down. Post-video release, it's currently at No. 25 on iTunes (with a version outside the top 100).

How is it evidence of that? It's possible that its overall points would be higher if all three metrics carried the same weight. What does that even mean? If 1 audience = 1 stream = 1 sale, the chart would basically be identical the airplay chart, so obviously the three formats need to have different weights. The fact is that Cheap Thrills is only #1 on airplay, but not in sales or streaming, its only fair that its a weak #1.
