Se ñorita is the second song to hit #1 in the Hot 100 with the letter " ñ" in its title. The first one was "Escape (The Pi ña Colada Song)", which hit #1 in 1979. that's literally not a coincidence at all

True. It should be noted under the Totally Useless Chart Trivia thread.

Post Malone has only ever charted 6 features.
Out of those, 3 peaked at #52: Celebrate w/ DJ Khaled & Travis Scott, Notice Me w/ Migos, and Jackie Chan w/ Tiesto, Dzeko, & Preme.
(others are Homemade Dynamite, Fade, All My Friends)

Here's a random one I thought of recently...
Adam Ant hit the American pop charts in 3 very different years -- 1983, 1990 and 1995. All three of those years also saw top 40 hits by the Human League, who themselves only had a handful of big hits.

All three of those years also saw top 40 hits by the Human League, who themselves only had a handful of big hits. But Human League had other years of big songs too. Don't You Want Me was 1982 I believe. I think this would have been a better coincidence if Human Leagues only big hits were in the same year as Adam Ant.

I found this coincidence really cool. All the songs in the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 that ended in #10 since 2013 are all re-entries the following year. 2013: Katy Perry - Roar (#46 in 2014) 2014: Sam Smith - Stay With Me (#58 in 2015) 2015: The Weeknd - The Hills (#32 in 2016) 2016: The Chainsmokers ft. Halsey - Closer (TBD) All of them except for Stay With Me became #1 during the Fall Season (Roar and Closer became #1 during September, while The Hills became #1 during October.) This coincidence was stopped with 2017's #10 not being a re-entry (with Post Malone and Quavo's Congratulations, but to think #9 is a re-entry [Believer] blows me) It returns in 2018 with Maroon 5 and Cardi B's Girls Like You being locked to be a re-entry. For this year, it will be decided if "Truth Hurts" or "Señorita" ends up at #10. In a similar case, #77 since 2016 places future re-entries like #10 does: 2016: Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj - Side to Side [#43 in 2017] 2017: Sam Smith - Too Good at Goodbyes [#49] 2018: Benny Blanco, Halsey, Khalid - Eastside [Expected to be in Top 20] Ironically, the #77 in 2015 is a re-entry [Tove Lo's Habits (Stay High) coming from #32]

As pointed out in the Hot 100 thread for the week dated 09/14/2019: Gunna has “Heat” and “Hot” charting this week lmao To clarify, "Hot" by Young Thug featuring Gunna is at #38 while "Heat" by Chris Brown featuring Gunna debuted at #77 this week.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but has an artist ever had the same year end position in different years more than 3 times? Ludacris did this 3 times in one decade.
It was number 77
Southern Hospitality (2001) Rollout (2002) Get Back (2005)

It was number 77 Southern Hospitality (2001) Rollout (2002) Get Back (2005) It was already mentioned in this thread (it was mentioned in the first post on this thread, made by gravey), but besides of it, Akon managed to place himself in #44 back-to-back in 2004 and 2005. This decade, the most recent example of either of the two instances is Shawn Mendes placing back-to-back in #23 in 2016 and 2017 (just like Akon) in which I pointed it out too, but if "If I Can't Have You" managed to end up at #23 this year, it will be like Ludacris' case.

Sam Smith is back to back in this week's Hot 100 at #29 and #30 with How Do You Sleep? and Dancing with a Stranger. Things like this used to be rare, but with so many acts having multiple chart entries, they are not only not funny, but inevitable rather than coincidental.

^I'm aware of that. But this was one I was actually waiting for. Now, if it were to happen later with Normani's other song, that would really be a coincidence.

All the number-one hits this year whose titles only have one word begin with an "S".
"Sunflower" "Shallow" "Sucker" "Señorita"
Each was at summit for just a week.

Michael Jackson.
• “BAD” spent 40 weeks in the top ten of the BB200.
• “Dangerous” spent 30 weeks in the top ten of the BB200.
• “HIStory” spent 20 weeks in the top ten of the BB200.
• “Invincible” spent 10 weeks in the top ten of the BB200.
All of his (non-Live/Greatest Hits/Compilation) studio albums released after “Thriller” spent 10 weeks less in the top ten than the previous.
A coincidence if I’d ever seen one.
