21 Guns by Green Day peaked at #22. either there's a typo or you dont quite understand what a coincidence is... I think they probably meant that it's a coincidence/funny occurrence in that it almost, but didn't quite make the chart peak of its namesake.

"22" by Taylor Swift did not peak at number 22. Instead, it peaked at number 20. However, her next single "Highway Don't Care" did peak at number 22. I think the more important thing is that 22 never charted at #22 at all. It did however spend weeks at #20, #21, #23, #24, #25, and #26

Currently, on the 2020 May 30th Bubbling Under, there are 4 Country Songs that start w "One" #105. LOCASH - One Big Country Song #114. HARDY ft. Lauren Alaina & Devin Dawson - One Beer #115. Lee Brice - One of them Girls #116. Ashley McBryde - One Night Standards
plus there's Luke Bryan's "One Margarita" on the Hot 100 at #48
and for non-country, there's "Hard to Choose One" & "One Of My" both by Future at #68 & #82 respectively and "1 2 3" by Moneybagg Yo ft. Black Youngsta on the bubbling under at #112
and if you're willing to stretch, we have the current chart sitter at 54 weeks, Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved" at #20
and to cap off this 1derful week, we can see the trio of songs pointing out how lonely it is to be #1, also, funnily enough, all in positions that are multiples of 9 #45. BENEE ft. Gus Dapperton - Supalonely #99. Carrie Underwood - Drinking Alone #108. Chase Rice - Lonely if You Are

Wouldn’t it be filed under funny coincidence if “Rockstar”, a song with the chorus “f**k a cop car” went #1 following a week of nothing in the media but protests against police brutality. Time to add this now that it happened.

the week of June 3rd 2017, XO Tour Llif3 by Lil Uzi Vert hit the Billboard trifecta at spot #8 (#8 peak, #8 last week, 8 weeks on chart). The song was produced by TM88, whos producer tag is just a single echoing 8.

Nena - 99 Luftballoons and Falco - Rock Me Amadeus were the 2 most popular German songs of the 1980s. They both ended up at number 28 on the year end charts in USA in 2 different years. 1984 and 1986.

I see Keith Urban has a new song out titled "Superman", so time to bring out this old coincidence:
Three different songs titled "Superman" peaked at #41 on the Hot 100: - Donna Fargo in 1973
- Celi Bee and the Buzzy Bunch in 1977
- The Kinks in 1979 (Full title "(I Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman")
So Keith has some big boots to fill.

Especially since his last song that managed to chart higher than that was The Fighter in 2017. Although, since this is 2020, it might just happen.

Boy that Kinks song is fantastic. Although it would have spoiled the coincidence, wish it had been a bigger hit.

#9(-3) Savage #10 (+2) Savage Love In addition, according to the Hot 100 article released today, there has only been one other song ever to chart on the Hot 100 with the word "savage" in its title, Rod Hart's "C.B. Savage," which reached No. 67 in 1977. The fact that the other two just happen to be charting at the same time and are back to back this week makes it all that much more of a coincidence!!

The only 2 times the word Cardigan appeared in a title were in 2020 (Swift & Don Tollivar).

Idk if anyone mentioned this but Wislon Philips and En Vogue were girl groups both with debut songs called "Hold on". They both ranked in the top ten YE. Wislon Philips "Hold On" places #1 for 1990 and en vogue "Hold On" placed #1 for the R&B YE.

Also this is probably mentioned but Smokey Robinsom wrote his #2 hit "Being With You" for Kim Carnes. Carnes didn't do the song and he kept it for himself. The song ended up peaking at #2 behind Bette Davis eyes which was kim carnes song. That gotta be crazy funny!

On the August 8, 2020 chart, Taylor Swift has debuts titled "August", "The 1" and "Seven". And if you add "1" and "seven" you get 8!
