All of Imagine Dragons' Top 10 singles have only one word in the title. (Radioactive, Demons, Believer, Thunder) I've said this back in 2017, and now in 2022 it's bound to remain true with "Enemy" possibly joining the club ("Whatever It Takes" peaked #12)

That sucks, I guess I should've realized that sooner that "Natural" only peaked #13 (a spot lower than "Whatever It Takes")

In March 1992, Save the Best For Last was #1. Thirty years later, Heat Waves went to #1. In both songs, the notable lyric mentions the month of June.

Both the 2000's and 2020's YE Top 2 feature a #1 that has an amazing achievement ("Breathe" was one of the four non-#1 peaking YE #1's, while "Blinding Lights" has 90 weeks at Hot 100, a year in Top 10, #1 on All-Time, etc.) and a re-entry #2 ("Smooth" was #19 in 1999, while "Circles" was #62 in 2019)

The AnnenMayKantereit & Giant Rooks cover of Tom's Diner received a huge streaming boost on Spotify in the days immediately following Tom Brady's March 13, 2022 announcement to return from retirement.

All I Want For Christmas Is You bookended 2021 charting by being #1 on 1/2 and 12/25. Oddly enough, those are the only weeks that Save Your Tears did not chart in 2021. In addition, SYT is the first song in post-UGC era to log 52 weeks on the chart without a Christmas song being #1 during any week of its run. (The last song to do that was Sunflower, which left the chart after 53 weeks, just a few weeks before AIWFCIY went to #1 the first time.) On the flip side of this token, Save Your Tears has now charted during the first week of April in 3 consecutive years (#41 on 4/4/2020, #5 on 4/3/2021, and #17 on 4/2/2022). SYT now has one of the most fragmented runs in the history of the Hot 100.

One I missed from last week's Hot 100 and repeated this week is Shivers and Cold Heart being next to each other at #13 and #14.

Number 33 on the year end chart in the 2000s, the leads were all males. From 2000 to 2009.
BBmak - Back Here Moby - South Side Nsync - Girlfriend Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go Linkin Park - Numb Frankie J - Obsession Fall Out Boy - Dance Dance T-Pain - Bartender OneRepublic - Stop and Stare Sean Kingston - Fire Burning
And itโs funny cause 2010 to 2013 the number 33 was all by popular female Pop singers
Lady Gaga - Alejandro Kesha - Blow Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together Selena Gomez - Come and Get It

"Knife Talk" is projected to end up at the 2022 YE at #67, and if it does happen, it will break a 17-year streak of the songs (2004-2021) that end up at #67 in the Billboard Hot 100 YE be a solo credit
Speaking of solo credit, in the Canadian Hot 100 Year-End since its inception in 2008, every YE #69 (nice) is a solo credit (the 2020 almost broke the trend with BROCKHAMPTON's "Sugar" if Dua Lipa was credited in the YE placement)

On May 21, 1977, Gonna Fly Now by Bill Conti zoomed up from 21 to 7. From there, it didnโt miss any steps to the top, going 7-6-5-4-3-2-1, finally topping the Hot 100 during Independence week.

On the CHR/Pop chart, Silk Sonic's "Smokin' Out the Window" immediately started posting huge negative updates on the day "We Don't Talk About Bruno" entered.

It occurred to me recently that the calendar year 1988 saw a lot of cases where multiple top 40 artists had the same first name:
Bobby Brown, Bobby McFerrin Brenda Russell, Brenda K. Starr Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Hornsby George Michael, George Harrison John Cougar Mellencamp, Johnny Kemp Michael Jackson, Michael Bolton Robert Palmer, Robert Plant Tracy Chapman, Tracy Spencer
Ironically, given that there were 4 Billys on the chart at the same time in 1987, only Billy Ocean hit the top 40 in 1988.
