Circles, Blinding Lights (Christmas 2020), and Levitating all went recurrent from the #18 spot.
Also, Save Your Tears charted during 3 different Easters (2020, 2021, and 2022), but never during Christmas.

Doja Cat/The Weeknd's "You Right" has the same number of weeks at the Billboard Hot 100 chart and its 2021 Year-End placement in 43 It also went recurrent from the #43 spot, which makes this coincidence all the more interesting. Circles, Blinding Lights (Christmas 2020), and Levitating all went recurrent from the #18 spot. Also, Save Your Tears charted during 3 different Easters (2020, 2021, and 2022), but never during Christmas. These are such great observations from your part! While checking the Canadian Hot 100 YE catalogue, I noticed that in both of the placement of Ed Sheeran's "Don't" (#56 for 2014, #72 for 2015) it succeeded a song that happens to also have "Don't" in their song title (Pitbull/TJR's "Don't Stop the Party" for #56, MAGIC!'s "Don't Kill the Magic" for #72)

Marshmello, Alan Walker, and Jonas Blue all charted their first song on the Dance/Electronic Songs chart in the same week: January 30, 2016. They have since gone on to chart a combined 109 songs and fall high on the list of artists with the most charting Dance/Electronic hits (Marshmello at #3, Alan Walker tied for #11, and Jonas Blue tied for #29).

In 1987, Whitney has her Whitney album and Stephanie Mills had her If I Were You Woman album. I Feel Good All Over kept I Wanna Dance With Somebody at #2 on the r&b charts and Your Puttin (A Rush On Me) kept Didn't We Almost Have It All at #2 on the R&B charts also.

Oh wow, I wouldn't have expected that, but I guess it makes sense: Diamond-certified A Thousand Years's longevity may be INSANE and arguably UNPRECEDENTED (it has cemented itself as a wedding classic, and unlike Xmas, weddings are year-round ๐คญ), but that isn't really reflected in its Hot 100 chart run smh (cuz pop radio paid it absolute dust, sadly and undeservingly) |
