When I meant she doesn't live in LA...I got that from Carey on the podcast he did recently. He said they moved north (I don't know if that meant Northern CA) because they wanted to be out of Los Angeles by the time their daughter was five.
Anyway congrats to them. That baby is adorable.

While we wait for new music, I noticed the Sober official video is off YouTube - it's not on P!nk's page or the labels. Someone uploaded a low quality copy recently. Anyone know why P!nk wouldn't want that video around?

That's weird. It's usually the other way around, the videos avaliable in the US are blocked here. Some bootleg versions are probably still up on Dailymotion or Vimeo. They won't be in HD but at least it's something. |

I'm excited for a new sound. Tired of this rock/pop same same. Her last album lost me. It showed little progression and was quite juvenile. They did pick the singles well, but the rest was incredibly basic.
Alecia, give me soul, RnB, funk... ANYTHING. Experiment and do something new. And please leave your god dam soccer-mum cropped hair at the door.

I enjoyed the last album, but it definitely didn't show progress. It was basically a greatest hits album, with nods to her previous sounds. I'm kinda not holding out for anything wildly new from her, but I'm definitely excited to hear more music.

I really enjoyed it as a whole at the time, but didn't last long. The tour though was one of my favs and the songs worked really well in that regard. |

Regarding her last album, I felt the best songs were left off the standard version. Queen is Dead, Timebomb, Chaos & Piss, Good Old Days... Those are my jams. They could have easily replaced songs that made the cut.

I actually wouldn't mind a covers album from her of her favorite rock, folk, etc. songs.
Usually I'm not up for such a thing, but I feel like she'd do it justice. It would probably have to include "What's Up"

Pink was always one of my favorites, and I'll never lose respect for her talent, personality, and showmanship, but I've really grown tired of her status quo sound. She needs to mix it up.
