Yeah, I'm kinda the same way. Absolutely love her to pieces. All of her albums at the very least have amazing standout tracks, but I need her to switch it up. This pop/rock thing is so played out. I actually wish she'd incorporate more R&B and funk elements into her music. Give me more "Catch Me While I'm Sleeping"s or "One Foot Wrong"s please.

Glad there is a renewed interest in Alecia because she is so dope. I really didn't like her last album, which pains me to say...other than the singles, which are very high on my all-time P!nk list so she is at least smart like that. But yeah, to echo what has been said, I need more from her because she is better than what she has been doing.

Excited for new Pink! I've never been a stan for her necessarily, but a bunch of her songs would make my all-time top 50 (I'm guessing here but likely) --
Who Knew, Give Me A Reason, and Just Like A Pill are some of my faves from her. Hope she has anything as good as those on the new album.

I thought the same when JLF dropped and was shocked as hell it actually cracked the Hot 100 top-10. I think the positive reception to that song being in recent memory might help her with this album launch but it's cautious optimism. I'm not expecting a blockbuster but hope she does score another legitimate "hit". |

If P!nk delivers, there's no question, imo, that it'll be a hit. People underestimate her yet she always ends up going platinum/multi platinum with singles and her albums. Look at how much her GH's sold alone. :)
I think if she were to do an r&b album again, and it was really hot; she'd be close to the biggest she's ever been (M!ss era). Hot album with a bunch of jams and some acoustic gospel ballads..maybe a classic rock sounding song or 2.

P!nk quietly does very well for herself. She's not like Adele, Taylor or Katy in that she's overwhelming, obviously successful but she definitely holds her own and does well.
