Welcome rockers and boppers we have a brand new #1 song from DIAMANTE. This song, the lyrics ,and attitude is the "Coming In Hot" of her second album. Amazing enough this is her 8th time at #1 on my weekly charts that includes "Hear Me Now" the Powerballad with Bad Wolves. Foo Fighters crash into the top 10 with "Making A Fire", and All Time Low grab a top 5 slot with "Once In A Lifetime". Getting into the debuts. We have Indie Spanish Rock act Luz Futuro anchoring the chart at #60 with "La Ultima Vec". Our two highest debuts carry the Halloween theme ,and come in at both slots #45 and #44". Ghost brings us soundtrack fire from 'Halloween Kills' with "Hunter's Moon", but my highest debut had to be "Clay Zombies". It's fast, catchy ,and features some fiery vocal abilities from Tiff Akouri. The band responsible for this song Fire Tiger have two songs on my chart, and at some point I might just combine the two into one massive double Aside single. The three K-pop singes continue to bop their way up the chart. That includes the boy band ONEUS who's new version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" has some amazing choreography. HOT LIST: German rockers Kissin' Dynamite cruise over from my Metal chart with "Not The End of The Road". Yet another K-Pop song bops its way onto this week's adds.  Singer/songwriter and actress IU brings on the 80's Disco vibes and some very nice vocals on "LILAC(라일락)". Last , but not least we have the return of Demi Lovato to my chart. This week Demi brings on a personal song titled "Melon Cake". This sounds like real pop I remember from back in the day. Don't know if the female band members are actually playing, but who's complaining right.

It's a shame "Love Again" didn't do that much but so happy to see "Sirenas" charting!

Diamante kicking ass on your chart! Look for "American Dream" to debut on my chart soon. Hoping "Making A Fire" can continue to rise as well. Great chart!

As Halloween Draws Closer I realized there is no way I'll get Ghost ,and Fire Tiger into the top 10 by the 31st, but I did manage to squeeze the latest from AC/DC titled "Witch's Spell" onto #10. A strong Metal song that should push up it's way into the top 5 before starting to descend down the chart. DIAMANTE continues to live her version of the "American Dream" at #1, and Crazy Lixx hott on her heels is up to #2. The Foo Fighters make the most notable jump within the top 10 up three to #6. Still Freefalling UP the chart are both Fire Tiger with "Clay Zombies" ,and Ghost who now have three versions of the song that I'm loving. Including Italo icon Mirko Hirch's 80's Retro version of the song. On to this week's debuts. Demo Lovato has the highest honor's with "Melon Cake", and rounding out the debuts are two of my favorite Pop songs of the moment. Charlie XCX sounding HOTT on "Good Ones" ,and yet another K-POP wonderjam from IU titled "Lilac". This is one smooth discopop jam. Who else has seen 'Halloween Kills' three times this week? I'm planning for three more times before the 31st so wish me luck. As always red =debuts, purple=Big moves and () is your favorite song's chart peak to date.

Looks like DIAMANTE will indeed hold the crown this Halloween night. We also have Foo Fighters going top 5, and in between all that top 5 fire is Japanese Breakfast reclaiming their #3 slot. The Mexican poprock duo JotDog scores another top 10 on my charts. This one has an end of the world Zombie take over theme to go along. On to this week's debuts we have Pale Waves with their latest single "You Don't own Me". The band actually spent about a month off my charts. Next up is Indiebop sensations Freeweights. Their new single is nice , but I'm afraid missing a bit of heart shown in songs like "Livin' In A Studio". My highest debut is Duran Duran's "Anniversary". This song features Simon LeBon belting out that chorus in his best 80's fashion, and could quite possibly turn out be my favorite single off their new album. More halloween funbombs from Fire Tiger and Ghost round out the charts biggest highlights. I also have a brand new Metal chart featuring a band who call themselves DRAGONFORCE, and you know what that is gonna sound like. This one features those mega fast horse galloping guitars that make AOR so fun to listen to. We cap this week's strongest adds with British Goth Rock icons Placebo are back with "Beautiful James". I loved this one the first time i listened to it.

New Music Metal Chart:
"On The Run" continues its run at #1. Rock icons L.A. Guns are up to #2 with "Knock Me Down". Really loving the AC/DC groove this song has. Speaking of AC/Dc they make another chart appearance with their latest single "Through The Mists of Time", and the highest debut goes to British Power Metal icons DRGAONFORCE. Their 2019 album 'Extreme Power Metal' has been releasing singles since 2019. The latest single is titled "Strangers" ,and oh my this is the 80's nail on the head sound I crave. and it comes complete with a the cheesiest MV of the month ,and Marc Hudson pouring his heart ,and soul into those vocals.. More action from Guns N' Roses as I'm slowly growing to like "Hard School" more and more, and another Nestor 80's wonderjam featuring Samantha Fox takes a slot at #8. Next week I'll feature a new female lead power metal band called NOCTURNA ,and a new single from J-Metal icons Band-Maid. stay tuned.

Big week as we got four new songs making their debut on the chart. First up at #60 is another ferocious Alt Metal hit for Sumo Cyco. Followed by first time charting act Winnekta Bowling League with "Pulp". Two more debuts to go ,and scoring their first metal chart cruise over to top 60 hit is the German Metal band Kissin' Dynamite with "Not The End of The Road", and leading that hot group of debuts are Reckless Love crashing up at #51 with their 80's AOR Firejam "Outrun". DIAMANTE keeps the "American Dream" alive at #1 ,and based on the song lyrics I'd say she is living it up in Florida. Our new entry into the top 10 is the risqué Eurobeat funbomb "Eat Me", and right outside the top 10 is Halestorm with this week's Active chart #1. DIAMANTE's "American Dream" slips back to #2 ,and the Foo Fighters go top 3 with "Making A Fire". HOT LIST: A former #1 on my Metal chart makes it's ghoulish appearance as Midnite City return with "They Only Come Out At Night", and I hear little inspiration from Def Leppard's "Rock of Ages" on this one. Next, put on your dancing shoes and let's groove to the latest Foals hit "Wake Me Up". I think I might like this better than "On The Luna". Let's welcome The Blow Monkeys as they return with some sweet sounding Sophistipop with "More Than A Miracle" Last, but not least is a new band on AOR Heaven records. From England come NITRATE with their big Journey sounding vocals and hooks with this week's pick hit "Big City Lights".

No change at #1 as Crazy Lixx hold the crown with their awesome Hard Rock anthem for a second week. In fact, there is no change in my top 5. The top 20 itself is very crowded , but somehow two songs mange to crack the top 10. First up Fire Tiger jumps to #9 with "Clay Zombies", and at #10 is "Back From The Dead" featuring some fierce screams from Lzzy Hale ,and Halestorm. Most of the chart songs are on a steady climb upwards so let's get to the debuts. Staring off the action is Placebo returning after a long hiatus with the very aesthetic "Beautiful James". Next at #56 is the second charting single from Kent Hill's Perfect Plan. The album has many would be hits, but I chose to go with the powerful hitting "Heart To Stone". Finally ,and making a quick debut is Midnite City with their very 80's Metal sounding "They Only Come Out At Night". That's one to look out for in the weeks to come. HOT LIST: .another Girl power invasion this week starts off with a gorgeous aesthetic song from one of my favorite K-Pop girl groups. Brave Girls are back with "After The Ride".  These girls with these vocals are what I call pure bliss. Our next ride feels  Bluesy country rock. Fierce little  number titled "Twisted Ambition" from newcomer Samantha Fish.  Finally is my favorite comeback of the week from Avril Lavigne. She hits the nail straight on by returning to her old sound on this killer track about a chick giving the finger to the guys who just couldn't cut it . HOT LIST: .. Starting off is the latest popbop fromis_9. Their latest single "Talk & Talk" has an irresistible main hook that is just begging to make a splash on the most melody oriented chart in town. My pick hit of a few weeks ago also makes it landing on this weeks Adds list. It's the new song from Stereophonics titled 'Do Ya Feel My Love?'. This song reminds me of that cool Adult Alternative rock we had in the mid 90's from bands like Third Eye Blind. Up next is the Spanish Powerpop team of Aitana and Natalia Lacunza joining vocal forces on "Cuando Te Fuiste." Female Powerpop has never strayed far from this chart, but I'm happy to see it make a comback on pop charts as well. The final add comes from Daughtry. Back in the early 2000's Chris ,and his band ruled my chart with songs like "it's Not Over" and "No Surprise". It's great to hear him back in form on "Changes Are Coming".










Avril is gonna have some fierce scream along competition to overcome.

Getting this week started with a brand new Eurobeat fueled song from Elena Ferretti. She is usually known for her Aishu romantic melodies, but this time she sings under the name Desire ,and brings some aggressive sounding beats for a change. So aggressive that she dethrones my former champs Crazy Lixx. Also scoring their second top 10 hit is Fire Tiger with "So Many Fishes" ,and right outside the top 10 is Billy Idol with "Bitter Taste". We have three new debuts this week, and starting it off at #60 is new Powerpop vibes with Aitana teaming up with Natalia Lucanza on "Cuando Te Fuiste". Daughtry is back with a quick debut for his latest single "Changes Are Coming" and the highest Chart splash goes to Kings Of Leon with a late comer as usual, but better late than never with "Time In Disguise", and it is actually the full album version not the radio edit I made that finally got me to chart this one. This will be my 2021 closeout chart so I can start compiling the YE end chart. Starting next week the songs will carry the 2022 tag. Also keeping things calm so I can save some big moves for new chart year. We finish off 2021 with Crazy Lixx reclaiming the crown position, and Foo Fighters still going strong and up a notch to #2. The rest of the top 10 is pretty much in stalemate mode so let's get to this week's four debuts. At #60 we have a new K-Pop bop from fromis-9, followed by Canada's very own Dear Rogue stuttering their way onto #59 with f-f-f-" Fake Fame". I dig that chorus. COIN is back with groovy bop in the form of "Chapstick", and the highest chart esplashado for the week belongs to Sweden for Italove's "Viva La Victoria". So that is it for 2021. [Doc Indie Party Rock]

New Music year. From this week a song's on points will be for 2022. The chart gets off too a slow start. Only one debut at #60 from Weezer titled "All Of The Good Ones". I like this one for sounding a lot like "Beverly Hills". The rest of the chart does have movement. Most notable in the top 10. Here we see Billy Idol scoring his first top 10 since "Save Me Now" from about 7 years ago. Boy time flies. We also have Fire Tiger scoring their first top 5 with the fast and upbeat "Clay Zombies". DIAMANTE and Ghost both move up a notch, but the big news are the Foo Fighters scoring the first crown song for 2022 with "Making A Fire". Next week a big chart clean up is in the works so watch out for at least 4 debuts. Again I only have one Hot Add , but that will all change as I'm surfing the net in different parts of the world ,so stay tuned for loads of uptempo, melodic and foot tapping, head bopping songs for January 2022. Foo Fighters end that last week of 2021 at the crown position for a second week. DIAMANTE's "American Dream" continues its strong hold in the top 5. The song has been top 5 for fifteen weeks and counting. Ghost is up one slot to #2 quickly becoming song to reckon with for the new year. We also have one new song charging its way into the top 10 from Edge of Paradise. As promised we have four new debuts which include new songs from Stereophonics, Franz Ferdinand, AC/DC and our highest debut which I just listened to this week, but immediately fell for it's 80's HI-NRG/Disco style. It's from a new comer to my music chart who just happens to be Swedish and who goes by the name Agnes with the NRGetic "24 Hours" and it makes the big chart splash at # 48. She reminds me of Sarah Michelle Gellar mixed with a Young Morgan Fairchild look. Green Day returns with movie soundtrack music sounding a lot like their alter ego Foxboro Hot Tubs on "Holy Toledo". The next Hi-NRG single from Fancy's latest album is "Lovers" and capping this weeks adds with some fierce hard rock from Nita Straus on "Dead Inside" with a little vocal help from Disturbed's David Draiman. We have a brand new #1 this week from the Swedish Metal band Ghost as they move up a slot to score their 4rth #1 song on my charts with "Hunter's Moon". After descending to #5 DIAMANTE is back on the rise and up to #2..again. One new song in the top 10 as Elena Ferretti falls out with aggressive Eurobeat she reenters with romantic Aishu style Eurobeat. Only a couple debuts this week. This is due to the fact that I have been compiling my best songs of 2021 for the year end chart, but I do have the current Active #1, and former #1 on my Metal chart jam from Nita Strauss and David Draiman making a chart splash in the top 60 and a return for Joywave with their latest "Cyn City 2000". This is also the week where I decide if I'm going to give a slight push up the chart or a drop to songs from 2021. For instance Bad Suns seems to have spent 20 weeks on the chart, but only actually three weeks for 2022 so I might keep that one in for a while. Also going to change some color codes as I have grown tired of Red and Purple, but for this week anyway red =debuts, purple=Big moves and () is your favorite song's chart peak to date. Want more? A slow moving week as I have not been listening to my chart songs, but rather reminiscing over my top songs of 2021. Most songs hold their position with some scattered moves here and there. The Top 3 songs have gotten most airplay as both DIAMANTE songs are my cell phone ringtones and Ghost my alarm tone. Only one new entry into the top 10. It's "Ball N' Chain" the second single from Chez Kane's debut album. Girl has some lungs on her. We also have two debuts this week. First up Foxboro Hot Tubs.. err.. I mean Green Day with "Holy Toledo" A super catchy poprock number to start off the band on a high note and my chart splash of the week from DRAGONFORCE. They bring on some extreme catchy 80's sounding Power Metal on "Strangers" We have new color codes for 2022. Green =debuts, Blue=Big moves and () is your favorite song's chart peak to date.

New music Metal Chart:
First chart posted for the new year. I waited untill most of the songs wee new ones.  This week Crazy Lixx rises another slot to hold down the crown with their latest smash hit "Rise Above". Didn't think it could better than "Anthem For America" and yet here they are turning up the notch to Night Ranger guitar level. Crashing into the top 5 is the latest from Saxon and also up a notch is my favorite single so far from the Swedish metal band Eclipse titled "Roses On Your Grave". .  Two new debuts. First we have The Violent who apparantly were Red Sun Rising a few years back. Their first single did nothing for me, but I'm digging Their Doors cover song for "People Are Strange". The second debut is the third single off Chez Kane's solo album. This week I'm setting loose "Die In The Name of Love" which should easily cruise over to the top 60 once "Ball N' Chain" peaks.

Metal Flashback of the week:

Cobra Spell - Addicted To The Night

Actually hailing from The Netherlands. Their debut E.P. "Anthems of The Night" was released late 2020. This is the new single from their 2022 upcoming album. Great to hear they keep the same 80's Heavy metal style from bands like Scorpions, Dokken and Mötley Crüe. Come to think of it this would fit like a glove played in between "Breaking The Chains" and "No One Like You". This banger debuts at #5 on my metal chart. More on Cobra Spell to come in the weeks to come.

Fire Tiger score their first #1 on my chart. Part of that is because I have been watching 'We Are All Dead' on Netflix, but the real reason is ,because it is one fiery 80's sounding production. The song also the title track from the movie 'Clay Zombies' starring Diane Franklin and Bill Mosley. New to the top 10 are Brave Girls with "Pool Party". This K-pop jam has paid its dues to reach the coveted top 10 most played songs on my playlists. Let's get to this week's debuts. We have three. Starting it all off at #60 with newcomers The Goon Sax with a song I recently rediscovered as an Extra titled "In The Stone". Josh Ramsay and Chad Kroger bring on the sassy brassy "Lady Mine" at #59, and the Chart splash of the week is "Love Dies Young" the latest from Foo Fighters. Highlight #1: First thing to notice is a chart with a lot of upward movement. I'm pretty sure your personal favorite is either moving up or hanging strong to thier proir position? Highlight #2: Just when you thought it was safe to climb to the top DIAMANTE swoops in and regains her crown. This week is a very special week for her three crown reign as she releases a new version of her song featuring Alternatives Rock's very own Lit. You may remember them from such classics as "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Zip-Lock" or maybe you don't want to remember them. Whatever the case they have technically scored a #1 hit on my chart. At least "Jon" Lit delivers the verse as if he was the guy singing to the girl. DIAMANTE still sounds and looks great. Four debuts this week. All from different sides of music. We have Fancy batting for Italo Disco, BROODS for Indiepop, Anderson East hoping to slug one for Blue Eyed Soul and finally El Ultimo Vecino hoping for that first home run with "Mi Nombre". It is their most Depeche Mode-esque sounding song ever ,and it is great. Elsewhere on the chart is DRAGONFORCE forcing their way into the top 10 with "Strangers". We start off the first week of March with the iconic fab five Duran Duran moving into the number one slot with "Anniversary". DIAMANTE's number one streak could finally be coming to end as she drops back down to number two with her version of the "American Dream" Also in the top 5 are Jack White up a slot with "Taking Me Back" and DRAGONFORCE swooping upward to #4 with "Strangers". No new songs in the top 10, but we do have Foals making a nice move up to #11 with "Wake Me Up". This week brings another action packed list full of exciting moves and four new debuts from Hatchie, Holding Absence and Riki all of whom have scored a hit on my chart in the last few years.
