Are there some artists that you listen to primarily during one season - like winter or fall or spring or summer?
I have realized that I listen to Tori Amos mostly during the winter. I don't know if the piano/melancholy has smth to do with it and it is associated with winter for me. Though she has a song called Winter. Sarah McLachlan is also another 'winter artist' Also, somehow, Madonna is mostly played during the summer in my case Fiona Apple and Alanis Morissette are somehow spring fitted Jewel is fall artist in my case :)
Anything similar with you?

I actually have a playlist for each season that contains albums I associate with each season so for me it isn't so much an artist thing but an album thing. Fall tends to be the strongest season as far as music I associate with it goes.
Tori Amos is a fall artist for me, particularly when it starts getting chilly but not too cold. Nothing like Scarlet's Walk on a crisp overcast fall afternoon.
Tegan and Sara are primarily a fall artist for me too with a few of their albums, mostly their first 5. I think because So Jealous and The Con came out just before or at the start of fall so I associate listening to them more with that time of the year.
So Called Chaos by Alanis and Under My Skin from Avril are both strong spring albums for me and for the most part I listen to them pretty much only when it starts to feel spring-like outside.

I did not really associate albums with seasons but it is true also
Born To Die by Lana Del Rey is totally spring / winter to spring album for me when the first sunny and warm days appear
Also, Cyclo by Zazie and Tidal by Fiona Apple are spring ones too, alonside Havoc by Alanis
More than a woman by Toni Braxton is summer jam, as well as The Immaculate Collection by Madonna

I've always thought this was an interesting topic, associating certain music with certain seasons. I don't specifically associate artists with certain seasons, but I do have playlists for each season. Usually more dance/upbeat songs in the summer and more ballads/mid tempos in the winter. Also, I tend to listen to more country music in the summer and more rock in the winter...idk why but I do haha.
But regarding your question, I think it depends on what kind of music and artist releases. Katy Perry has more summery feeling songs so I associate her more with the summer while I associate Adele with more fall/winter which is when I have tended to listen to her more. However, there are always exceptions to every artist.

I associate Kenny Chesney with summer (more specifically the beach) because most of his songs have this summery vibe to it.
For fall/winter, Ellie Goulding. The fact that my favorite from her ("Love Me Like You Do") is perfect for winter nights imo and her songs generally tending to have a dark undertone to it makes her music perfect for the colder weather for me. It's not seasons, but I also associate her music with nighttime. So the perfect time for me to listen to Ellie Goulding music would be fall/winter nights.

To add to my post from a few years ago (which still stands today) :
KT Tunstallβs almost entire discography is early fall for me. So around this time.
As fall progresses, I go into other albums such as Tegan and Saraβs So Jealous, Sarah Mclachlanβs Afterglow, and Alanisβ Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie.
Ellie Gouldingβs Halcyon and Florenceβs Ceremonials are both late November/December albums because they both remind me of early snow and the spirit of the holidays on the horizon.
Celineβs The Colour of My Love is practically a Christmas album to me. It feels weird listening to it any other time.
It doesnβt pay to be this picky I swear... π£

For me, outside of the obvious Christmas, Halloween, and 4th of July songs/albums, most of my go tos for seasons tend to be for fall.
No artists specifically, but some songs and albums that scream fall for me:
Demi Lovato - Confident Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me Lana Del Rey - "Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)" Drake - "Hold On, We're Goin' Home" Fall Out Boy - "Alone Together" Kelly Clarkson - Meaning of Life P!nk - Beautiful Trauma Grey - "Wings Clipped" Miley Cyrus - Bangerz (though "We Can't Stop" is very summer for me)
And a few summer Katy Perry - Teenage Dream Paramore - After Laughter Fall Out Boy - The Phoenix (outside of AT per above)

I don't have any particular artist in mind for this but sometimes the time of year the song gets popular is when I listen to it more. Even if the song has nothing to do with that season.

I'm pretty sure hip hop becomes my go-to summer/spring and rock is my main genre fall/winter

Kanye for the most part is an autumn and winter artist. The only time I can play MBDTF is during those seasons.
