Maybe "Miracle" deserved a little better, but four of my top five are the top four, so I guess I can't complain too much.

House on Fire is sooooo lame
The Violence does not deserve Top 4, what a disappointing song that was

The album was a bit disappointing but at least my top 4 is the same as the top 4, hopefully it can even end up in the same order.

Boo. "Wolves" had the most number ones BY FAR. "Welcome to the Breakdown" had more number twos than "The Violence" had number ones.
I guess what I'm saying is that "The Violence" did not deserve this #1. Not at all.

I've still never listened to this album in full yet. Guess I'll start now.

I've only listened to this twice cause I listened to Visions of a Life around the same time and fell in love. Oh and then Snails dropped an album. Sorry NBT.

I guess what I'm saying is that "The Violence" did not deserve this #1. Not at all. To be fair, it's not like the rest of the album is that much better than "The Violence". It's a pretty lackluster album by Rise Against standards. I would have rather seen those two songs win, too, but I expected "The Violence" to win. shrugAyy, NBT gets their due. Excited to see what others who haven't listened to the album yet think about the album.

Just opened the form. Forgot to make it open for submissions, since I copied the other form for the last rankdown.

Well damn if I knew I could've saved The Violence from being number one by voting in the RA rankdown I would have, Welcome to the Breakdown is much better (...even though The Violence was a top 10 hit on my chart, which is way too high, that song has not held up at all for me).
I'm pretty inconsistent with these, but I do like the NBT album so I might give this one a shot. I've only listened to it once and could easily go for a second listen.

Ah man, I listened to this "Broken Machine" already. I only liked "Amsterdam". the rest of the album sucked bad. It was broken alright.

It just hit me right now while listening to the album...does the synth line that comes in near the end of "Sorry" heavily remind anyone else of the main synth line from the Killers' "Smile Like You Mean It"?
(I also think I'm going to have the most unpopular ranking of this album on here)

Man I LOVE this album. It avoided the sophomore slump beautifully and it showed off a different side of them. I submitted this morning btw.

This is one of those albums that sounds better when you just listen to it alone. last time I listened to it I was inserting hard rock songs in between every other track and it sounded pretty crappy compared to the other songs. I did find a few songs that sounded pretty cool. BTW, "Sorry" sounded so much better once I opened my ears to the "Smile Like You Mean It" vibe it had.
also why didn't we rank "Reset"? IT was one of my favorites there. "Number 13" was quite alright too.

I can't rank Reset Me? That'd be in my top 3!

Listening to the album right now and goddamn, it's excellent. Yeah it's a bit on the generic side I suppose, but if you're gonna do straightforward alternative rock this is how to do it. I'm so surprised that the album has underperformed so far, but I suppose Sorry really wasn't the best first single choice. It's honestly kind of an outlier in the album's sound and it's easily one of the weakest tracks, though it's not bad by any means. Based off what I've heard so far I probably would've gone with Particles first -- it's one of the softer songs on the album so alt shouldn't have a problem with it, but it has a huge hook and was way more instant for me then Amsterdam which took a few listens to really grow on me. I'm Not Made by Design, Get Better, and of course Amsterdam would be good singles too.

I may participate in this. If I don’t get it done before the deadline, could you tag me for the results?

I guess I'll just listen to this album when I'm not as busy as of now. Only heard I Was Just A Kid, Amsterdam, Sorry, I'm Not Made By Design & Particles and while all of them are at least good Sorry is the weakest one.
