The Band Perry has been long rumored to be collaborating with Nicki Minaj, and it looks like the track will be released soon.
I know that that tweet isn't exactly official confirmation, but Nicki Minaj herself liked a few tweets about the collaboration. Mods, feel free to lock this thread if this isn't enough confirmation to start it.

They already collabed with RedOne for "Live Forever" so I can't really be surprised that they want to release the rest of the collabs during those sessions. Lets not forget that "Cruise" from Florida Georgia Line x Nelly is one, if not the, biggest Country x Rap x Pop crossover songs since "Over and Over" with Tim McGraw.

What the hell? Ugh. I get they're moving to a new direction and sound, but their newest sounds like a Kelly Clarkson reject, and now this news! Their pop music just isn't going to be anywhere near the quality of their country material, is it? Shame. Not like Nicki can't put together some great lines, but I highly doubt The Band Perry ft. Nicki Minaj is going to be anything close to "Grand Piano" or "The Crying Game."  I'm expecting "Cruise" level terribleness. |
