Not that it matters much lol, but I ranked Spark the Fire #44, not #43 Not disappointed in any of these reveals so far but I am pretty sure my #45 will manage to elude the bottom 10, maybe even bottom 20. hope its not a No Doubt song It's not! And fwiw once I get past my bottom five, a low rank from me here doesn't say much, the rest of my bottom ten is at least listenable. .

The songs I've seen so far ,are a testament as to why Gwen, never should have left No Doubt.

I was always just unimpressed by this. Never worked for me.

Kings Never Die isn't bad at all, actually, but no way was I about to rank it above Gwen/ND songs that I like more. (I probably wouldn't rank it that high in an Eminem rankdown either.)

I could have switched my ranking of this with my ranking of "Can I Have It Like That" and been fine with it, but I don't think it would have made that much of a difference, so... shrug

Next one is the first No Doubt song to be out.

Oh darn I missed out on this one, soooo many rankdowns due around the same period of time I was bound to miss a few. Can you tag me in the results if anything?

My 44 is a No Doubt song, so I hope by some miracle it's that. But I doubt it will be. It'll probably some middle of the road song for me.

I bet it's something from the first two albums.

IMO Spark The Fire isn't so bad, though it's surely nowhere close to even being a best for Gwen It was catchy a bit, though a fast burn.

This one was okay. It grew on me a bit as I relistened.

I think it was my lowest ND song.
Just to clarify (and I said this when I sent my list), the Beacon Street Collection does have some gems. I would have put both By The Way and Greener Pastures in my top 10 if they were on the list.

"Squeal" was my 2nd lowest No Doubt song on the list... unfortunately my favorites from the Beacon St. Collection were not singles =(

I ranked this #25 actually. I'm only a little surprised to see this leave so early. I thought all the early ND songs would be clustered in the #30s range.

Oh wow I was expecting something from Push and Shove but this one doesn't surprise me too much. Speaking of which, the P&S songs need to go soon.

"Yummy" is another lousy Gwen/Pharrell collaboration. Guess they lost whatever collective magic they had with "Hella Good" and "Hollaback Girl".
As I said in the Eminem rankdown, "Kings Never Die" is well beneath I was hoping for from a Gwen/Em collaboration. I agree that it would have made sense for Dre to be involved, but I guess he wasn't doing a lot of production by that point.
"Squeal" has some good musicianship and lyrics, but as a whole it's kind of a mess. I like "Doghouse" a bit more, and some other tracks I've listened to on TBSC more still, but overall I think Gwen taking charge of the group was for the better.

I thought Yummy was gonna be a lot higher. I feel like this board was pushing for it to be a single. I never found it charming but thought it would at least beat Wind It Up.

Not a Country fan, so I was bound to not like this too much, but this wasn't as annoying as some of the other songs here.

Ohhhhhh come on.... I knew this song wouldn't last long but I am still a bit disappointed that it end up in the bottom 10. I really like this song - i know it's more Blake type of song but i think that they both sound great and the lyrics and melody are also very nice. And how cute were they during the voice performance of this song... I mean the way he looks at her and the way she smiles at him when she sings "how did you get me so into you?" They are so adorable together.

It's an alright song but not at all on the same league and most of No Doubt's and (some of) Gwen's solo work

I couldn't sit through Blake's voice on this one - admittedly kind of odd b/c I don't hate his voice or anything, and he doesn't sound especially different here. But this song made me itch for some reason.
