I think Roses would be perfect for autumn/winter.
After that hopefully new album, since the deluxe version of Unapologetically never materialised, but they might want to release the title track as last single from the album

As much as I would love her to release 'new' stuff I think the label won't want anything else before 3rd album. I agree I don't think the label will allow any additional music to be released before the next album. Unless she puts out something on a movie soundtrack or something.

I can't find the post now, but I read somewhere that "Mixed Signals" and "I Think I Fell In Love" were going to being remixed to include on the Deluxe.
I recently got newer studio mixes of "Fun and Games" and "Miss America". So perhaps those will be the 4 Deluxe tracks. But who really knows. Fun and Games has changed a lot over the past year or so. The newest mix starts with some country instrumentation before some strong piano chords come in. Has some different lyrics as well.
Need to update my Kelsea rare songs site soon as I've got some new material. A new song called "F150 Love" co-written with Hillary Lindsey sounds really good. Will likely make the next album.

I missed that caption but that probably means that "We Were Like" is still on the Deluxe, and perhaps "Miss America" has been cut. I could be wrong, but I'm thinking that it will be 4 songs max. 6 songs would be half of a new album. I think there is a good possibility that "Naive" and "Miss America" have been cut and will be held back for the 3rd album. I consider both of those tracks to be too good to release on a Deluxe anyway. Sounds like we will just have to wait a couple more months to find out.

I don’t like how they have handled her sophomore album at all. They picked a bad lead single and pushed it too long. Now a superior second single is suffering and they’re going to randomly drop a deluxe. It all seems really poorly planned. Her first solo tour did very well, so a segment of the GP is here for her but this should have been her launch pad to superstar and it feels like more of the same from the debut era (or less successful).

Just a little more info as I got the updated versions of "Mixed Signals" and "I Think I Fell In Love Today". According to sources, both of these are being highly considered for the Deluxe so that's why they were recently updated.
Mixed Signals was written in 2015 with Jordyn Shellhart (another one of my favorite artists). I have the acoustic worktape and studio recording from 2015, but the newly updated version has a lot more instrumentation. The chorus really explodes. I think I can hear Jordyn on background vocals as well.
I Think I Fell In Love Today is from 2014. I also have both the acoustic worktape and studio recording from that year. The newly updated version sounds a lot more complete. Apparently, Kelsea wrote this song by herself. If that's true, it makes sense why she wants it on the Deluxe. It's a pretty song. I think some people out there have heard this song as the studio version from 2014 leaked last year.

I Think I Fell In Love Today is honestly one of Kelsea's more boring songs ever, and sounds youngish (read immature), so unless that one has had a major uplift I really hope they don't put it the deluxe. They need a good follow up for I Hate Love Songs, and neither Mixed Signals or ITIFILT qualify.
I think Fun&Games is quite uptempo and catchy, so potentially they are looking into releasing that one. We were like is a nice song but it's very much a summery song and if they follow the usual way we should only get 3-4 new tracks (and possibly a new remix?).
I am still hoping they decide they will give us Hit Song at some point, as that the one that could live up to its name  |

So it does indeed look like we will be getting the new mixes of Mixed Signals and I Think I Fell In Love Today (which may have been shorted to I Fell In Love Today). I have the final new mixes of each and the songs do sound a lot better and more current. FYI for anyone interested I recently did an update post on Kelsea's Roses on the Latest News section.

I really think Naive has been scrapped from the Deluxe. I can only hope that will mean it will be included on the third album. Naive is one of Kelsea's best songs, so it doesn't make any sense to not release it at some point.
I'm currently predicting these included tracks for the Deluxe:
1. I Fell In Love today
2. Mixed Signals
3. Fun and Games
4. the collaboration
In that video clip, Kelsea starts to mention a collaboration being included on the Deluxe, but the video gets cut off just as she's about to say more. It could be Machine Heart (with Kelly), Finish Your Sentences (with Thomas Rhett), or Get Started Early (with Nick Jonas).
Also, Miss America did receive a 2018 update, but I'm worried that it has been scrapped. Which would be a shame.

It could be that the collab is the single to follow I Hate Love Songs, as a significant proportion of female artists seem to be doing these days (Jillian Jacqueline, Danielle Bradbery). Also, still waiting for the music video for High School that they supposedly filmed before the album release. Finally something I noticed the other day, this video features a different mix for Miss Me More, initially I thought it was a live version but I am now convinced it's an early version of the song for some reason (@0:13).
I wonder if they changed the mix last minute for some reason. |

Apologies for the double post, but I just found out that Morgan Evans debut includes a collab with Kelsea titled Dance With Me..I wonder if they are planning to release that at some point.

Interesting information. That sounds like Fun and Games will be the new track. As that was remixed and updated recently in the studio. So was Miss America. But more a lot more time was spent on Fun and Games so I truly think that's what's coming. As for the old track, looks like they will decide between either I Fell In Love today or Mixed Signals.
