Not sure if Stacey would call a #23 peak on country a bonafide hit, but Heartbreak Town would be my guess as well

I can't take the suspense! There's going to come a point (maybe around #20) where I feel like every song remaining should be in the top 10. #20-11 will be tough cookie

"Lubbock or Leave It" was robbed. :'( Also, I totally thought that would be a lock for your Top 10, LBTrocks. It's such a rocking song just like you usually love. :o My guess for the clue is "White Trash Wedding" is next. Idk what else to think it could be. I do love it, it's just not a top 10 kind of love lol. Likewise, I'm surprised it made it your top 5!

So the clue is that this next song is much like the magazine, a cover of Keith Urban! 26. Some Days You Gotta DancePoints: 322 Average Rank: 22 SD: 8.3121 Album: FlyRelease Date: September 24, 2001 Writer(s): Troy Johnson & Marshall Morgan Producer(s): Blake Chancey & Paul Worley Charts:
Billboard Hot 100: #55 U.S. Country: #7 Aside from being a cover of Keith, he also joined the Chicks in studio and played guitar on the track. This song was chosen as the 8th and final single from 'Fly' where it peaked in the top 10.
I always liked this song but find it oddly lacking in energy given what it's about.
This is only the second song along with "You Can't Hurry Love" to not have a top 10 ranking.

This song is alright, but now is a good time for it to go. Before it outlasts something I don't want to see it outlast.

Lol @ me just learning that this was a cover. Keith Urban seriously recorded this? I can't even hear that in my head. Will have to check it out sometime.
I BARELY escaped losing a top 10 here...

I had no clue this was a cover. Of course, I'm not a Keith Urban fan, so that would explain it. This was also my first time listening to the Dixie Chicks version as well.

I can't take the suspense! Welcome to the top 10 loss club! 25. Voice Inside My HeadPoints: 331 Average Rank: 22 SD: 8.8561 Album: Taking The Long WayRelease Date: 2006 Writer(s): Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines, Linda Perry, Emily Robison, & Dan Wilson Producer(s): Rick Rubin Charts:
N/A
Released as the final single from their 4th album, "Voice Inside My Head" failed to chart anywhere which is a travesty. This song has one of my favorite vocal performances from Natalie and I always loved how people tend to have different views on what the song is actually about. Is it about a past lover? A child given up for adoption? or an abortion? I've heard strong arguments for all three and I'm not even sure which I think is correct. I just know having those three interpretations makes the song that much greater.

I'm sorry to announce that we have our first #1 loss!
24. Daddy Lessons (w/BeyoncΓ©)Points: 334 Average Rank: 21 SD: 10.427 Album: LemonadeRelease Date: November 20, 2016 Writer(s): Kevin Cossom, Alex Delicata, Wynter Gordon, BeyoncΓ© Knowels, & Darrell Scott Producer(s): Alex Delicata, Dixie, & BeyoncΓ© Knowels Charts:
Billboard Hot 100: #41 After the Dixie Chicks added BeyoncΓ©'s "Daddy Lessons" to their set list for their 'DCX MMXVI World Tour' it came to the attention of the CMA's who asked them to perform together for the 50th award show. The performance was met with a lot of media attention and mixed reception.
Personally this was the highlight of the CMA awards for me and I'm still saddened that so many people were against the performance.

Daddy Lessons is a good song and the Chicks addition made is only better in my opinion. Having said that, I think 24 is still a bit too high for me personally.
