Now that Kendrick scored a #1 hit, I hope we can see mainstream breakthroughs of Chance and Logic next. That would be awesome. If I'm The One can keep it up that could be Chance's first #1 (even though it's a feature), surely it'll be his first top 10-20 song |

Well looks like RIP Bon Appetit. Can't even break top 10 on iTunes, unless it has a MASSIVE day 1 on spotify, this is gonna be Katy's biggest L in a LONG time.

At least CTTR was top 10 by this time. This is #15 and is behind three other new songs. AirPlay should help a nice debut but probably not the highest one

"Feat Justin Bieber" is like the easy ticket to get a chart boost these days. So maybe Katy, Lady GaGa and other pop divas not doing well these days should get him for their next single

DJ Khaled's first (and so far only) top 10 hit is "I'm On One", and the song that is set to become his second top 10 hit is "I'm The One"... Fun coincidence.

Is over 50% of I'm The One's youtube views from US? Is so, then wow it can rack up 50 million streams in total for the first week since it looks like the type of song that takes on-demand streaming by storm too. Then 140K sales is all it's needed for a no.1 debut even with no airplay at all

Bon Appetit should be able to earn a Top 50 debut, as it's first week airplay should be good. Digital sales are behind by a lot, along with streaming. So unless it can get a big boost, I can't see the song climbing any further than #48. Should of kept Ariana, Katy.
I'm The One should get an easy #1 debut, let's hope Bruno is #1 this week or else he's never gonna get it :(.

If Bruno will get a #1 this week and Khaled #1 the week after I'll be very happy. That would make 4 different #1s each week in a row! But I prefer "That's What I Like" so I really hope it does get that one week at #1 and won't be blocked by a new song.

Why do I have that weird feeling that The One will be a SOTT 2.0? I think The One has far too much Day 1 streaming on Youtube alone for that to happen. After It's first red update, its still selling nearly 4x everything that's not Despacito. We don't have YouTube's numbers for Friday in the US yet, so don't count your chickens before they hatch, because you may be putting too much weight on how much this country is contributing to the numbers. Another cause for concern is the Spotify number for Friday: 6 NEW DJ Khaled - I'm the One 1 6 1,459,599 It's OK, but it's not "smash hit with a shoo-in to #1" big like HUMBLE was last week, where that was pulling 3-4 million (in fact, it's still at 2.8 mil a day at this point). As for this week's chart, I just realized something: Shape of You230m kworb AI 50k sales 16.3m YT 7.2m Spotify HUMBLE.43m kworb AI 58k sales 20.6m YT 20m Spotify Despacito44.5m kworb AI 80k sales 20.5m YT 14m Spotify That's What I Like225m kworb AI 72k sales 17.9m YT 7.3m Spotify Could Despacito be challenging for a top 3 spot or maybe even #2? |

Yeah, but based on the on-demand global/US figure you can extrapolate that at least 55%-65% of I'm the One's streaming figure is from US, then so far its youtube already got 18 million views even after 1.5 days of release, that's like 11 million views from US, and you count spotify and other on-demand services it got about 3 million on-demand on the first day since spotify is usually about half of the whole on-demand number. I can see it already got 14-15 million streaming in less than 2 days and it seems like holding up quite nicely. Then at the end of the week it should have no problem hitting the 50 million mark and there's at least 20 million airplay then all it needs is 120k digital and so far it already sold about 60k and still holding very well.
I think there's no doubt already I'm the One will hit no.1 next week. But I just don't get the appeal of this song/video at all.
