TEOF is a bewildering album for me. It has some absolute career highlights, but then that material is sandwiched between some of her worst. I have to do a lot of skipping around with that one.

The only song I hate is “Put It In a Love Song” and “Distance and Time” is boring. Overall, it would have been my favorite if not for the former. Her second and third albums are beast though. I think those two are flawless.

She SERVED with those "Time Machine" remixes. The Cedric Gervais mix is on repeat. Best thing out of this album so far.

I surprisingly really loved this. It’s simple, but the simplicity hooks me. The chorus has been stuck in my head since this morning.

Album pushed back to December 31st. (I’m well aware that’s a placeholder date, thanks)

I have always wondered why "Doesn't Mean Anything" underperformed while "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars was a big hit. Both songs sound similar to me.
Maybe the hype surrounding Bruno Mars was stronger and the production of "Just The Way You Are" was catchier. I have to say I felt that AK song was boring when it was released but I grew to like it.
I still much "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" (that song was sooo good) but "Doesn't Mean Anything" was cute actually.

I still wonder whatever happened to that "PIIALS" video. They should have released it internationally at the very least. They were both on fire at the time and it probably could have been a big hit in the UK at least.

TSWABH is so underrated. The album was very poorly handled, but quality wise it was on par with her earlier efforts.

Film a whole music video overseas only to change your mind later and shelve it.

“This Bed” could’ve been huge! I always felt that way too. I even thought she should have sung the talking part too. Such a jam!

I’d wanted “Slow Down” as a single.

The TASTE. WHEW! Also, Alicia's magnum opus is As I Am - from her cosplaying as a White Russ Meyer actress on the cover, to the filler-less album underneath. Inspired guests, classic, timeless melodies, perfect production. No One was such a huge hit that it overshadowed the album, but I Need You, Like You'll Never See Me Again, Lesson Learned, Teenage Love Affair, Where Do We Go From Here, and Wreckless Love are career highlights.

As I Am also gets my vote for her best album, I hear so many people who only talk about “No One” from there but there’s so many hidden gems on there.
Honestly only “Girl On Fire” is the only album of hers I didn’t care for the whole thing. Lots of filler there.

I was an Alicia stan from her debut to her 3rd album. I was a casual fan since 2009. Her early days she had a genuine vulnerability that appealed to me and she spoke her emotions from a unaffected place, as time went by the genunity seemed forced (to me) love her always though.
But only the soulless wouldn't appreciate or relate with this song

"No One" annoyed me, so I never listened to the album at the time. Clearly I need to rectify this.

I forgot how much I LOVE Girl On Fire too. That album was SO good live.
