99. Pepper - Fuck Around (All Night)
Can't see what's so bad about it? Are we getting hung up on lyrics again? This MV is best used to put on mute while you play Nickelback and Hinder songs in the backround. ;)  I'm not making fun of it. I love the MV on all levels. Plus best use of the pharse "Fuck Around"

98. alt -j - Fitzpleasure
Never heard this song before I did this rank down, and I still thought "bottom ten for sure". The title sounds like a violation to Fitz(lead singer of Fitz and the Tantrums)

97. Mumford & Sons - Lover of the Light
This one bored me to tears. I'm glad it's gone. Gonna go crush some banjos just for the fun of it.

96. Alex Clare - Up All Night
I don't like these singer's vocals one bit, but this was gold compared to that "drop beat" or whatever that's called "Too Close". hated that one with a passion. At least this had some guitar in it.

95. Mumford & Sons - Babel
Another bottom of the barrel bore fest. I'm going to sponser a mandolin burning party later tonight.

94. C2C - Down the Road
This was surley bad, but I can always find 15 songs that are worse than this song. This does have EDM fake effects , but the guitar saved it from the bottom 10.

93. The Airborne Toxic Event - Timeless
looks like I'm clearing out my 80;s before my 90's. anyway, here is another song I wouldn't shed one tear for.

92. Dirty Heads - Cabin by the Sea
I don't know why ,but I picture this band writing all their there songs in the "head"

91. The Lumineers - Ho Hey
Talk about lazy song writing. Ho Ho Ho fuck this song.

90. The Mowgli's - San Francisco
Musically this isn't so bad, but damn it quickly becomes Happy/Silly.

89. Fun - Carry On
By the time this single came out, the FUN was over.

88. Blondfire - Where the Kids Are
The hate for female indie songs is amazingly high on this forum. I'm not surprised it's out early, but I was sure going to still put it as high as I could. It actually came in one slot shy of it's year end placing on Billboard.

87. Grouplove - Ways to Go
This is actually one of the songs I dig from this band.

86. Thirty Seconds to Mars - City of Angels
Don't know why this is out so early. I love the "With Or Without You" rehashed vibe of this song.

My #100 is the worst most obnoxious sounding thing I ever heard that year, but I know some of you guys like it. To me it nothing more than somthing chanted before we all get struck by lightning.

Well, I am a little annoyed that both Fitzpleasure and Ways to Go got out. I'm actually shocked WTG made it as far as it did considering all the Grouplove hate, but I guess me and a few other Grouplove apologists helped prop it up. Nice job guys, now let's make Tounge Tied go top 50! ;) Also dissapointed City of Angels got out this early, partly bc it's a good song, and partly that doesn't bode well for Up in the Air which is amazing.

On the other hand, getting I'm Yours part 2, both Mumford songs (!) and Ho Hey (!!!! -- seriously this one shocked me) out along with some other mediocre crap out this early is a trade I'm willing to make. Down with indie folk!

Also, with regards to indie folk, I actually like it, but if we see artists like Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Father John Misty etc. charting, I'd be happier. Their lyrics are more meaningful, but these artists are too "hipster" for Alternative and are hence relegated to AAA, which is just sad, because imo the songs I've heard from them are much better than the songs I've heard from Mumford & Sons, Lumineers (though Cleopatra was a step up for them), Vance Joy, etc. We are seeing Lord Huron break out now but that's because of 13 Reasons Why, and without that show, they'd probably stay on AAA. ("Fool for Love" went top 3 on AAA on Billboard in 2015 but peaked at #6 on Mediabase per Kworb) Maybe The Decemberists can try to break out on Alt? ("This Is Why We Fight" nearly went top 20 but that's about it)

Alright, let's see how I did in the first 15 reveals:

100. Lets Go - I found it pretty funny that they built a chorus with screaming Let's Go 4 times. I actually liked Get It much more. Happy that my #100 was the actual #100.
99. f**k Around (All Night) - Didn't really enjoy it. Also the way he says f**k Around is annoying.
98. Fitzpleasure - Preferred this to their other song on this Rankdown, but they're not really for me.
97. Lover of the Light - I'm not a big fan of them and this was kinda weak compared to the other songs. It's not bad though.
96. Up All Night - This is pretty good, I thought it'd do better.
95. Babel - Pretty much the same as #97.
94. Down The Road - Surprised this wasn't #100 lol. When I heard it for the first time I was like wtf is this. But it's actually really enjoyable lol. First Top 50 loss.
93. Timeless - The chorus is generic but it's still enjoyable. There are better songs here.
92. Cabin By The Sea - I really liked My Sweet Summer but this is just decent.
91. Ho Hey - Oh dang that's my biggest loss until now, thought it'd do better. Kinda over ranked it but it's still a good song. How is this out before Stubborn Love though
90. San Francisco - Oh I really enjoyed this one, didn't know it was disliked here by many.
89. Carry On - Nice this is out earlier than what I expected :) I'm not a fan of Fun's music, this is not that bad though.
88. Where The Kids Are - It has a nice beat but it's just boring.
87. Ways To Go - The vocals on the chorus :c
86. City Of Angels - Just really weak compared to others. Happy that it's out before Up In The Air.

#91 Ho Hey - never understood the love for this one, so I'm kinda glad to see it out early (especially with the Mumford purge...)

#90 San Franciso - This was one of my favorite discoveries from this game. I'm sad to see it out so early!

#89 Carry On - I HATE "We Are Young", but I like this one, and I really love "Some Nights". Not a fan of Nate's voice as a whole though

#88 Where The Kids Are - This was alright on first listen, but like others said, not enough to rank it higher

#87 Ways to Go - I don't quite get what's so bad about this one, but I enjoy some of Grouplove's work. This one isn't one I particularly like, but I'm surprised to see so many low ranks for it

#86 City of Angels - Ugh, I love this one. Sad to see it go so soon!

I actually liked "Ways to Go" a good amount when I absolutely despised "Tongue Tied" and "Itchin' on a Photograph." "Shark Attack" was meh. I like "Good Morning" and "Welcome to Your Life." They're a very hit or miss band for me.

"City of Angels" being so low surprises me as well. It's not 30STM's best song by far, but I figured they were relatively liked on here overall. "Up in the Air" is a much better song.
