Surprised this got as high as it did. It was one of the few songs from the rankdown I was not familiar with beforehand. It's a nice enough song but didn't make an impact on me as a first-time listener

"if you could only see" has been growing on me even more since I made my list, it probably would be in my top 20 if I ranked this list now  it's about where it belongs though. |

This next song was in the top 5 during the early part of the process and at one point looked like it could win the game, but it got tanked by 9 ranks below the top 40. Two people will lose a #1, another two lose a top 5, four more people lose a top 10, and two people lose a bottom 5.

And my top 10 starts taking the hits I expected a little earlier. I'm fine with where "Crush" placed, honestly, though I'm surprised that, not only was I the top ranking, I was the top ranking by a considerable margin. Nostalgia glasses overload! I expected Aaliyah to go out earlier, especially after the R&B purge, so I'm happy to see her land in the top 20. And "If You Could Only See"...the emotions that song inspires.
Meanwhile, my lowest ranked song goes out. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have...the top 20 so far.

The next song was in the top 10 during a lot of the submission process, but unfortunately for the seven people who ranked it top 20 (with three of those ranks being unemployed the top 3 and one in the top 5), eight people ranking it below the top 40 (including one bottom 10 rank) was enough to push this song back to #13.
