1998 Billboard Airplay Year End Rankdown: Winner posted

Anyways, if you guys would like to see a rankdown of the 1997 Hot 100 Airplay Year End list, may someone please do me the favor of finding the list and sending it to me? I actually tried to find it pretty soon after creating this thread in anticipation of hosting it once this ended but I couldn't find it.

6. "Barely Breathing" - Duncan Sheik

I don't need 1999. That's the first year when Billboard allowed radio-only singles to chart on the Hot 100, which means the Year End Hot 100 of that year isn't missing any important songs, so I'm fine just ranking that chart for 1999. If 1996 happens though then the Airplay one will probably be necessary.

Oh boy, 1996 looks a little tougher. However, it looks like Pop might dominate that year.

1997 kinda looks great, with No Doubt & Cardigans.

Fantastic rankdown and incredible winner. I wish "Iris" would have won because it's my second-favorite song of all-time, the title of the song alone makes me love it, but lyrically and melodically it's incredible as well. But "Semi-Charmed Life" is awesome as well. Went back and forth between it and "3AM" as my #2 because I love both so much. Very, very happy with the way this turned out! Glad the alt songs were able to do much better than the mediocre pop (I do love "Torn" and a few other pop songs on here though)

I never much cared for Bittersweet Symphony and Good Riddance is one of Green Day's worst. Semi Charmed Life is still played too much and I always preferred Jumper. Disappointed it won over Torn. :(

1. Third Eye Blind - Semi Charmed Life.
By now you realize my top 10 had 2 M20 songs, and three 3EBsongs. Awesome #1 song. So I had to play here in the pop games to actually win one of these? Now that's fucking funny. This is one of my top songs of those Grunge killing off ,my beloved Glam Metal, 90's songs. I Know it word for word. 

The whole top 10 was a great turn out. Most of em I ranked in top 20. I nailed Green Day. You guys all did my Aersomith song dirty, but my #1 song was the king, so I forgive you this once.

I'm an alt-poster, but I gave high rankings to a good number of Urban and dance-pop songs as well. The only style that I didn't treat so well overall was the AC-leaning stuff.

Anyway, although SCL wasn't in my top 10, I still think it's a worthy winner. I actually would have liked to see more variety in the upper reaches of the rankdown, but I don't particularly object to any of the top 10 songs. I'm actually pleasantly surprised "Bittersweet Symphony" made it this high.

Please dear god use the regular year end instead of the airplay year end, unless Mo Money Mo Problems, I Believe I Can Fly and Hypnotise made the airplay list.

this Alt poster ranked Frozen, Torn & Bittersweet Symphony in my Top10, most of the others that ended up in the final Top10 were in my middle25, while i think Jumper is way overrated & Walking On The Sun deserved much better, got a very raw deal

i like some hip-hop from the 90s but i feel that that decade was not the best for R&B...if you want some truly great R&B go back to the 70s for Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Sly & The Family Stone, Earth Wind & Fire, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Lou Rawls, etc
