Sad "Love at First Sight" couldn't crack the top 5. This is a fabulous top 5 though even though "Confide In Me" has never done anything for me whatsoever.

Can't Get You Out of My Head seems like the obvious winner, though I'd be over the moon if it were one of my three remaining top 10's.

"Confide In Me" has never done anything for me whatsoever O wait who are you again I don't think we've met. lol whatever. I like the Arabian vibe to it but otherwise snoozefest. Its not the Kylie I'm here for no matter how many people think it was a exercise in innovation for her.

My entire top 4 made it in, so I can't complain, and the other one is #13.
Very pleased that GOMW isn't in the top 5.

My remaining songs are #1, #3, #4, #6 and #14. "Confide In Me" has never done anything for me whatsoever. O. This was one of the best discoveries I had from Kylie's discography during this rankdown. 'Slow' was never one of my faves from Kylie. :sip2:

#7: Get Outta My WayStatsPoints: 238 Average: 17.000 Std Dev: 16.201 Charts Australia #67 United Kingdom #12 Ireland #33 US Dance #1 History & Tidbits Beating out #8 by a single point, we have "Get Outta My Way" coming in at #7. The second single from Aphrodite was a fan delight and chart disappointment (largely b/c Parlophone waited forever and a day to release it...). The song itself is a thumping club anthem where Kylie asserts her control and independence from a neglectful lover, playfully toying with others on the dance floor. The video is notable for continuing the Aphrodite/Ancient Greek imagery and a large array of special effects. Fun Fact: This song was in the Top 3 for a while until more rankings poured it, pushing it down a couple spots. Notable Loss: Your host loses his #1 :'( Host Opinion Chart performance be damned! This song is quintessential Kylie - it perfectly blends many of her personas into one, making the listener want to get up and dance but also pay attention and go on a journey. It's catchy, fun, sexy, interesting, and campy. I can't get enough of this song and I rage over the fact that Alesso had a larger hit with his single "Cool" sampling this than Kylie did. Also, I want the light up gloves she was wearing in the video. Not "Come into My World" lasting longer than "In Your Eyes" with those vocals! I have a bad feeling that my #1 is next to go. "I Believe in You" was probably her last showstopper and the ballad version from the X TV special was even better. "Confide In Me" has never done anything for me whatsoever. O. This was one of the best discoveries I had from Kylie's discography during this rankdown. !! well it's never too late as Kylie would say !!

Pfff Not gonna lie A bit disappointed at the top 5 I have 1,3,12,22,23 left. I did think my #22 was going to be higher in this RD as I've read posters considering it Kylie's best (??!) so it being top 5 isn't a surprise. My #23 really is though. In terms of 10-6: Believe: seriously? Another song with great instrumentation and divine vocals. Should've been higher Devil: I never thought this was considered a departure for Kylie... sounds like most of her SAW songs. I do like it enough. Not mad at it being the lone SAW top 10er. Eyes: pretty solid bop... simpler or more generic than stuff like IBIY, ATL, ITB, but good for top 10. Outta: surprised it made top 10! It was in my top 10 for awhile too, so no beef here either Sight: wtf? No top 5 for this one? Geez! Gem in any version I've heard.

Get Outta My Way was actually the second song I've ever heard from her..amazing though.
I know CGYOMH will be #1, but I'm rooting for OANLT.

#5: SlowStatsPoints: 222 Average: 15.857 Std Dev: 13.643 Charts Australia #1 New Zealand #9 United Kingdom #1 Ireland #5 US #91 US Dance #1 Canada #6 History & Tidbits Three number ones down with this one! "Slow" was the lead single from Body Language. The mid-tempo electro-ballad was a stark departure from the dance-pop sheen of Fever and received mixed reaction at the time. However, that did not stop it from hitting #1 in several territories and even charting in the United States! Kylie herself has stated "Slow" is her favorite song from her entire career. The video was quite the creative piece, creating a human made kaleidoscope of people writing on colorful beach towel around a pool. Notable Losses: Three number 1's and two number 2's!! Host Opinion I never liked this one much until I heard The Chemical Brothers remix. Now, I appreciate it more as my tastes have evolved through the years, but I still love many Kylie songs a lot more. The video is quite steamy though... Slow is the type of track you can truly call a masterwork and take immense pride you had part in. Much moreso than say, remaking Love At First Sight for the nth time.

I feel like 'Confide In Me' will be next, since Albie and Leo have their #58 and #62 respectively - which I think is where they ranked CIM since Albie said it did nothing for him and Leo hates life the Decon era. :'(

#4: Come Into My WorldStatsPoints: 199 Average: 14.214 Std Dev: 11.033 Charts Australia #4 New Zealand #20 United Kingdom #8 Ireland #11 US #91 US Dance #20 Canada #15 History & Tidbits Despite some of the regard for "Slow," this song beat it out by over 20 points. "Come Into My World" was the final release from Fever and continued Kylie's streak of success. The song is another of the Cathy Dennis-penned tracks (including CGYOOMH). In the video, the camera pans around an intersection in a city - each time it gets back to the beginning, another Kylie walks out of the shop until there are several Kylie's repeating the same pattern around the screen at different parts of her walk. The song is also notable for winning Kylie her first Grammy Award in the category of Best Dance Recording. Interestingly, no one ranked this higher than #3, there were just very few low rankings to drop it down further. Host Opinion Probably my favorite from Fever. I love both the original and the radio edit AND the Fischerspooner Remix! I must confess, 12 year old me choreography a dance to this song using an umbrella in my room. Also, it's one of my favorite videos of hers too. I like how the four videos from this album are linked by their futuristic surrealism. CIMW is simply wonderful. It's also quite versatile: the energy of the beat makes it good exercise music, and Kylie's dreamy vocals can be so relaxing. It's so rare to find a song that can do both.

You can thank Leo ✔ for knocking this out of #1. It held out until he submitted his ranking. He's going in the Shame Box which I invented during the En Vogue Rankdown. #3: Confide In MeStatsPoints: 186 Average: 13.286 Std Dev: 21.146 Charts Australia #1 New Zealand #12 United Kingdom #2 Ireland #12 US Dance #39 History & Tidbits Kylie's debut single with Deconstruction Records was this haunting production from Brothers In Rhythm. The song performed well across the world and even garnered a release in North America (with Canada getting a special French Version as well as their own unique album cover). The video was a large contrast with the song, showing Kylie in bright settings, offering the viewer to call and confide in her. Host Opinion Simply amazing. It's beautiful, haunting, and inviting all at the same time. It's no surprise this has been covered many times by artists in different genres, but none compare to the original (#biased). I'm so sad this didn't make it to the top as a semi-surprise #1.
