I’ve never heard the radio version, but — right? — it can never have the punch of being able to shout I’m a motherf**king woman. A singer who revived her career with an emotional, gut-wrenchingly real ballad then had her team pick a song that couldn’t have been played on the radio without it losing the entire thing that makes t punch in the first place. Gross, safe, craven, and so emblemic of suits around a table who wouldn’t know artistic integrity if it bit them in the dick. I think Woman is a great single choice - the best second single choice, even - and the radio edit is just fine.

This was a bad choice from the start. The fun and power of this song is taken away by having it played on the radio where "motherf**king" has to be edited out. I never heard it on the radio since I almost exclusively listen to country radio in the car, but I think back to the few times I heard "Work Bitch" on the radio years ago and how tame the song sounded in its edited version. I can imagine the same for this.
They should just try with "Learn to Let Go." It's the one song on the record that I think could still be a hit for her, though they should've just put it out second and not even bothered with "Woman" imo. It didn't help that divisive song like this was going up against her own feature with Macklemore, too. I'm sure a lot of stations have collectively just opted to keep spinning "Good Old Days" instead. That said, it's starting to look like it could be about done, too, so that could bode also well for a new single from Kesha in the next month or so.
I can't even really blame radio for letting this flop between the mediocre sales, not being able to really promote it, and the nature of the song itself.

They should set an adds date for single #3 in a couple weeks, when it should be easier to predict how far Good Old Days is actually going to go.

I think so, yes. I think there's only one song going recurrent this week, so this won't be pulled back into the top 40.

LTLG is one of my favorite tracks released last year, but sadly I doubt it would fare much better than this. I guess it’s still worth a shot, though.

Best bet would probably be a new album this Summer and a single out around the one-year anniversary of Praying.

Best bet would probably be a new album this Summer and a single out around the one-year anniversary of Praying. I'm thinking one more single ("Hymn," preferably, but "Learn to Let Go" would work too) to carry her through the Macklemore tour and then a new album after said tour wraps up. I just have a feeling she's already written several albums worth of material and is itching to release more music. I got that vibe since day one of this era.

praying (while not radio friendly) worked because it's simply a great song. a song like woman, while very topical, needed promo and a campaign behind that unfortunately didn't happen.
LTLG, is a great but in my opinion, too similar lyrically and conceptually to Praying. Hymn needs to be released, it has a trendy production (finger snaps, 808s and atmospheric synths) and could slow burn on streaming and radio. it kinda reminds of bad at love by halsey (same producer). a chill, mellow song that the GP could jam to.

I vote "Hymn" for next single but I don't think anything is going to stick. "LTLG" would have been good if they hadn't already put out a video for it.

There are no remaining hits on the album. Stick a fork in it. It’s done.

If they remix Learn, it could work. Like who mixed that song? One of the best written and catchy songs, and the vocal is seriously indecipherable at times. Did anyone else have to look up the lyrics because they can’t understand what she’s saying during the prechorus? “ or am I just old and hearing impaired?
I actually really think Hunt You Down is a hit. It would be super left field, but has that obscene Kesha flair and think it’s a career song for her.

Sadly, I think Hunt You Down is too agressive for radio, both its lyrics and it’s country-leaning sound that would be polarizing on pop. Sad because I agree it has that smash-potential sound!! I think Hymn is the only option left. If they don’t release anything, I hope a new album will be just around the corner :) I’m already ready for some more new Kesha music!!

Still team "Learn to Let Go" but a bomb like this will hurt any follow-up so I don't think it's a safe bet for success. I might be missing something with "Hymn" because after release it seemed like a nice filler track and I revisited it recently and still found it very meh.

Remember that 'meh' songs often click with radio. A remix could do the trick. There's also a video waiting to be released...
