New single from the album, a new radio edit was just serviced. Welp, here we go, folks! I'm very, very nervous about this choice. Why it was not "Learn to Let Go" or "Hymn" is beyond my comprehension. I'll be praying it doesn't bring this era to a screeching halt.

I'm still jamming to this so I'm happy with it's selection as a single Here's to hoping it does well, it'd be a good platform for her to perform this at the Grammys, though I'd love to see Praying performed over it, let alone I hope she performs at the Grammys

Such a bop...I really hope it does well, but I honestly don't think that it will.

I love this, just everything about it. From the beginning with her laughing and then saying shut up, cracking up over the 2nd verse lyrics, and the end of the bridge with her shouting, "don't call ME 'HONEY'!!!!"
"Learn to Let Go" would be a much easier single. Still, I hope this song can capitalize on that same energy in the news/U.S. right now that "Praying" did. It's an anthem that's fun, funny, and avoids the preachy label. I just wonder how they'll deal with the censoring.

I just can’t see this doing well :/ I really really hope that I am proven wrong as it is a great song, but I would have much preferred Learn To Let Go. Also, ugh at a split release

Yeah I'm going back on my earlier thoughts -- this is a very risky choice and I think LTLG would've been a safe top 50 on the hot 100/top 20 on CHR. For this I dunno...the ceiling is maybe slightly higher but I could see this bombing hard.

New single from the album, a new radio edit was just serviced. How'd they handle the chorus? "I'm a [blank] woman," "I'm an independent woman," or something else?

Oo, “I’m a, I’m a, I’m a” is how I sing it when I sing it :) The “I’m a mother...” may sound weird.. I hope it is emphasised that she was cursing and it is being muted, and not her just saying that she is a mother

I'm torn. I love both but I think LTLG would've been a better choice. However, with everything going on right now, it could be a huge anthem right now.

I guess LTLIG will forever be the hit that got away. I don’t get this decision to release Woman.

I'm upset that I am just now taking the time to listen to this! It's got the Kesha party vibe but without the strange autotune and real instruments.
This sounds like a hit to me. Listened to it once and it's still bopping in my head.

I'll never understand why people think "Hymn" is a good single choice. No thanks. I'm pleased with this choice. It has some of that classic Kesha flair. LTLG would have also sufficed, but I'm not mad bc I prefer "Woman" anyway.

LTLIG is great, but this song could be a timely hit given the feminism movement, and is empowering during a time of public realization.
I think lyrics are a big factor in a hit song, and that anthem factor is important. This song has that going for it. My choice would have been Hymn and to save this for single 3 or 4 though. When first listening to her album, I had to google the lyrics to Learn To Let It Go because her vocal is super inaudible among the noisy production, which I see impacting it’s hit potential.

LTLG bombed completely in the UK so I'm glad they've picked something else for the US release

Hymn is my second favorite song on the album after smash Boots but...I think this is a really smart choice. Women all over the world unite!!

Not a bad edit, bit the muted part just didn't sound good in my head.

Hymn to me sounds nearly exactly the same as Camila’s Never Be The Same. When I hear the start of NBTS I always think Kesha’s gonna start singing. So if NBTS is single material, why isn’t Hymn.
