Who said any of us thought NBTS was a great single choice?

Good song but LTLG would have been my pick. I could see this tanking.

LTLG is the weakest among the promo singles IMO. Subject matter is played out, it sounds like a Pink album track and nobody will know or care that it’s Kesha. I mean, did you see how weakly the song responded to promo? Woman is already responding so much better.
This and Hymn are the right calls. This has an anthem vibe that is super of the moment and in tune with the sociopolitical climate. Hymn is aligned with a lot of trends right now as well; Ricky Reed produced Halsey’s Bad At Love (which is worse than Hymn).

My personal favs are "Let 'Em Talk" and "Hunt You Down"
The former would've been a hit 10 years ago when Avril could still make CHR dents, the latter is so out there it could work as a sleeper 4th or 5th single.

Mmm #96 vs #97 on the Hot 100 doesn't seem like that much of a difference.
Remember there was a time when Camila Cabello's OMG debuted higher than Havana and we know how that turned out in the end.

If they (RCA) promote it right, it can do something.

Another radio edit was serviced, they edit the explicit content in the same way, so we are going to have 2 radio edits:

I love "LTLG," it's super catchy and would have made an amazing single at another moment in time. But are people actually listening to current top 40? Because acoustic, banjo heavy songs are blowing up in this current climate? And it's a twee too busy and loud in places and I can see her vocal quirks annoying people. After "Praying" took five million years to peak in the top 10, she needs something far more instant and safe. Save it for fourth. "Hymn" is the biggest hit on this album. It's the only song on the album with very current production, the chorus is anthemic and the message is going to connect to a large swath of radio listeners (and I'm glad you brought up Halsey, because those are the people that are going to eat that song up). It's also the most stream friendly song on the album. "Woman" is incredibly topical and it's catchy and fun. It seems like the prime moment to release it, so I get what they're going for though.

I mean in terms of what's happening in the country, I will say it does make the most sense in that aspect to put Woman out now.

LTLG was promoted pretty heartily in Europe, actually... including a major award show in the UK. It didn't even chart. How is this not a warning sign? It's not that tough to see the song didn't respond to promo and that it's a bad idea to push it forward as the next single.

There is no way anything else from this album will do anything, especially this, unfortunately. Not with that badditude!!

The Grammy's are right around the corner and there's a very good chance she can bag a performance on that stage, considering she's nominated. Radio is also very likely to give a new Kesha single a shot considering HAC and T40 both just supported Praying way more than anyone thought they would... and this time it's an upbeat song.

I prefer and was hoping "Learn To Let Go" was going to be the next single. I put it on a playlist awhile ago and am still loving it. I think it's very catchy. I didn't realize it flopped in the UK and I'm basing this on personal opinion. With all the talk about "Hymn" I went back and listened to it. I like it except some of the lyrics. She goes from speaking about Praying in single one to not caring about getting into heaven during this song. Anyways "Woman" has grown on me after a few listens. Maybe an upbeat anthem could do well from her. I'm not always sold on her quirky side and it takes some getting used to so maybe in time I will get into it more.

She goes from speaking about Praying in single one to not caring about getting into heaven during this song. I don't think she means "praying" as something religious. That's what I got from the song. She even questions the existence of God in the intro for the video.

I guess I have no clue what I'm talking about then. lol I'm not a huge fan of the song "Praying" to tell you the truth so I don't know all the lyrics.

The 'looseness' of this is part of its appeal for me, and the thought of an edit alone makes me think it'll really lose its effect, but we'll see I guess.

It's an upbeat song, but this isn't 2015. It doesn't sound like anything on radio, and Ke$ha isn't in the position to be pushing boundaries right now. Praying was risky and look how that went. Woman sounds like cornerstone Kesha brand and the message is very relevant.

Praying was a statement. I really don't think it was her aim to try and get it to become a hit. Yeah, I am sure she wasn't against it becoming a hit, but I highly doubt the likelihood of it becoming a hit or not had any influence in their decision to lead with it

Love this song! Hoping the radio edit doesn't kill its badassery (like Britney's WB and Xtina's YB) -- Come through with another hit Kesha!

I think this is the right choice for the next single. I love LTLG as much as the next person but I think the verses are a little weak for radio despite having a great chorus. I feel like the verses would lose people who just hear it on the radio.

tbh this sounds like a song that will burn super hard later in its run
not bad at all, but I already know I'll get sick of it after hearing it a lot

Her last hit was a ballad. She can't have 2 ballads in a row.She had to follow up Praying with something more uptempo.

I'm not saying she should continue to do ballads? all I said was this sounds like a high burner, which had nothing to do with it being an uptempo sit.

Why test spins? Why not send it to radio? Sounds like Kesha and her team are not sure or comfortable with Woman as the next single.
