I just can't wrap my head around the delay of this album; as busy as she is with all of her other stuff, surely she could've squeezed a 10 track album at the very least by now? I think she keeps presenting the record company with material that they just don't find hot enough. Btw, nice interview.

Yeah it's an amazing interview, she is so down to earth. I don't think the issue is the material not being hot enough. I think it's just she is a perfectionist. I mean look at Anti Same ol' mistakes was recored 2 weeks before the album dropped. Besides looking at it now I'm glad we didn't get it last year. I would hate to see this era "comeback" happening through the pandemic. Hopefully we get it later this year. Apparently she has been in LA for two months working on music.
