Very early predictions from ATRL 1 Despacito 716 (=) 2 I'm The One 421 (=) 3 Wild Thoughts 402 (=) 4 That's What I Like 367 (=) 5 Shape Of You 303 (=) 6 Believer 268 (=) 7 Humble 268 (=) 8 Body Like A Back Road 252 (+4) 9 Congratulations 250 (-1) 10 Mask Off 250 (-1) Guys watch out Wild Thoughts is coming for the summit in 2 more weeks😂😂 More like three. Then it's radio will be way higher and it will already have overtaken Despacito on Spotify. Also, Despacito is falling around 3k each week. Not a good sign if it wants to grab the YE #1.

Also, Despacito is falling around 3k each week. Not a good sign if it wants to grab the YE #1. It'll still be getting blasted in sales. There's two versions of Despacito let's not forget so video views is nowhere close, it's 2 to 1 in favor of Despacito. Despacito would need some HISTORIC streaming drops for Wild Thoughts to become a real threat. To put it in perspective, The gap between Despacito and Wild Thoughts is MORE points than Shape of You has overall.

To put it in perspective, The gap between Despacito and Wild Thoughts is MORE points than Shape of You has overall. That's not true... WT would have to either have negative points or Despacito already be a YE #1 lock. But then again, I'm pretty sure that Despacito will be the #1 longer than SOY, but It'll fall hard after that and that way SOY will be the YE #1. Also, to be honest, nobody (STFU Satan) has seen Despacito being as massive as it is. The same goes to WT. And it has a better perspective than Despacito originally. Why isn't it possible that WT will get more points than Despacito, and that it'll get the #1 rather on it's points and not Despacito's? Sorry... The entire Despacito situation made me paranoid.

Also, people, can you really not look forward? Into the perspective, or however it's said? This week, the difference will be ~30k points. Two weeks ago it was around 40k, right? Idk. But what I mean is that with time, WT will start gaining more, while Despacito's losses will be bigger. Three weeks is a long time.
Maybe there'll be a "Wah-wah-wah" meme?
Maybe when WT will be solidly ahead in streaming with solid airplay, it'll go on discount?
The future doesn't exist. Everything is possible.

If That's What I Like maintains consistency, and Shape Of You pulls a Paris/Earned It and just starts freefalling, do you think Bruno could get the year end?

If That's What I Like maintains consistency, and Shape Of You pulls a Paris/Earned It and just starts freefalling, do you think Bruno could get the year end? Earned It is a really weird example. It took 17 weeks to go from top 10 to off the hot 100, which is definitely above average. I mean it's no See You Again but it didn't really freefall either Just for the sake of proving that point, here's a bunch of other top 10 hits in 2015 and how long they took to go below 50 Thinking Out Loud: 26 See You Again: 30 (Got kicked out at the 52 week mark but it had just gone 45-49 so I think it was done anyway.) Sugar: 21 Blank Space: 17 Watch Me: 16 The Hills: 17 Cheerleader: 12 Can't Feel My Face: 20 Love Me Like You Do: 15 Take Me To Church: 11 Bad Blood: 9 Lean On: 24 Want To Want Me: 20 Shake It Off: 25 Where Are U Now: 18 Fight Song: 11 679: 18 Lips Are Movin': 11 Honey, I'm Good: 14 I'm Not The Only One: 13 Good For You: 9 All About That Bass: 19 Style: 14 Hotline Bling: 11 Hey Mama: 8 G.D.F.R.: 9 What Do You Mean?: 10 Photograph: 12 Hello: 8 Jealous: 11 Time Of Our Lives: 12 Locked Away: 12 Somebody: 13 FourFiveSeconds: 5 (LOL FLOP) Centuries: 13 My Way: 16 Animals: 13 Nasty Freestyle: 11 Love Me Harder: 8 Wildest Dreams: 14 The Heart Wants What It Wants: 12 Drag Me Down: 19 (This is a weird one because it debuted in the top 10 then fell out and stabilized) Ex's And Oh's: 19 Like I'm Gonna Lose You: 11 Habits (Stay High): 12 Lay Me Down: 9 Don't: 12

If we want to look at what the next potential Latin hit could be, we should keep an eye on "Mi Gente" by J. Balvin and Willy William. It has only been released for one week, but it has already made a lot of gains in streaming as it has hit the Global Top 20 Spotify chart and has amassed over 63 million views on YouTube. As far as how well it's performing in the US right now, it is currently #60 on iTunes and has hit the Top 50 on the US Spotify chart, so this song has plenty of potential to become a hit in the US.

^ What are those # of weeks referring to? Number of weeks after a song first entering the top 10, after reaching its peak inside the top ten, or after its last week in the top 10?
As to whether TWIL possibly outlasting SOY and beating it for the YE #1, I don't think it will happen, because if SOY were to start free-falling, now would be the time when it would do so, but it's not.

As to whether TWIL possibly outlasting SOY and beating it for the YE #1, I don't think it will happen, because if SOY were to start free-falling, now would be the time when it would do so, but it's not. After spending it's last week. So for Wildest Dreams its chart run was 15-12-13-10-8-9-6-5-7-8-8-9-13-14-18-23-22-18-21-28-34-34-35-38-46-46 and the first week counted would be the second week at 13, giving a total of 14 weeks. But in either case Earned It certainly didn't free fall because it lasted for 22 weeks after it fell from #3, its peak. If you compare it to other 3 peaks that year Drag Me Down lasted 19 weeks, Love Me Like You Do lasted 21, and Watch Me lasted 24.

Guys watch out Wild Thoughts is coming for the summit in 2 more weeks😂😂 More like three. Then it's radio will be way higher and it will already have overtaken Despacito on Spotify. Also, Despacito is falling around 3k each week. Not a good sign if it wants to grab the YE #1. What makes you say that? I'm looking at the 7 day stats for Spotify via kworb, and "Despacito" remix and "Wild Things" lost almost the same amount of plays over the last week. Additionally the "Despacito" remix is ahead by well over 1.5 million plays (so that doesn't include the original version which had almost 3 million spins in the past week). What am I missing?

Despacito and both WT are falling about the same in Spotify, but WT should stabilize and gain a bit in a week or two while Despacito will fall. Slowly, but it will. The difference will be minimal. Now, I don't want to say that the pseudocertainty effect is here in action, because you guys know that. Everything is possible. Your data from this week is not the data from September.

Despacito wont be dying in 2 weeks lmao. Both versions still stand at huge numbers over wild thots. Wild thots will take #1 for a week then overtaken by something big act(s), I guess.
