I don't know how you could say this. Perfect is an absolute stunning ballad about wholesome, feel-good love, and I don't think I'm alone in this opinion. Both COTH and SOY were energetic, uptempo songs, so it would be alright to go with a downtempo ballad like Perfect now, which also has a ton of radio appeal.

To me Perfect is like Thinking Out Loud but without the passion. A lot of Divide is basically just Multiply but watered down, which is why I'm not really a fan of Perfect or most of that album. Though it's an okay song, definitely better than COTH. Probably a pick for my worst of the year IMO.

It's great to see a chart and not see Closer in it, just like I'm hoping that next week I see a chart without Drake. Last year, he was overexposed enough as it is, and hasn't gone one week without charting since his first hit in 2009. I think we need a break from him, enough is enough. I'm personally pulling for the streak to finally end.
