#14...no two ways about it, this is going to be somewhat controversial. Early in the process (and I do mean early), this was in the top ten, before it settled into the 11-20 area that it would hang around for most of the rest of the process. Three people lose bottom tens here (none in the #36-#40 range), while seven people lose a top ten (including...*sigh*...me again), including yet another #1. I kind of wish Green was here for this. This isn't his #1, but...I think he'd be angry all the same.

Probably should have mentioned...this will make one non-Green poster, in particular, flip a lid. Look out, everyone, Lord's about to blow! (Also, holy crap, lyhom, this update has not been friendly for you...but it IS a little kinder to you, alexcuse, as you just lost your last bottom ten.)

lmao this is reminding me of the 2013 alt rankdown where I lost my entire top 5 (and I think all but two top tens) in the 25-11 range, including also losing my #1 and #2 consecutively

Maybe I spoke too soon about the "biggest comeback" being "Hallelujah", because #13 made its own remarkable comeback. After the first four rankings, this song was bottom ten. Four rankings later, this song was in the top ten. It would remain there for almost ten rankings, before settling into the 11-15(ish) range for the rest of the process. Hell of a run for this song, though. We lose five bottom tens with this song, including a #39 (and someone else gets rid of their last bottom ten), while eight posters lose a top ten, including a #2. Fun fact: No one who put this song in their top ten put it lower than #7.

These updates haven't been the best of times for you...but indulge, you can take solace in the fact that you just lost the last of your bottom tens. Oh, by the way... FIRST SONG TO REACH 500 POINTS!

#12 marks something big: The last tie of the rankdown. This one was also the hardest tie to break, and I'll explain more when we get to #11. Around the ten poster mark, this song entered the top ten for the first time. From there, it was in just about every top ten until the very end, where it juuuust got pushed down below the top ten. This was another song whose performance was a pleasant surprise, as I thought this would do well, but nearly top 10? So cool. Only two bottom tens for this song, but it does clear BOTH posters' bottom tens, while there's also only four top tens for #12, but they include not one, but two #1s.

I thought "Cherub Rock" "Pyramids" had a shot at Top 5. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ultimately, #11 and #12 was, as already mentioned, the toughest tie to break. Usually, I'd break the tie by placing the song that had the higher poster ranking ahead, but that wasn't possible here. I thought about then going for which song had more highest rankings, but that wasn't possible, either, as both songs had not one, but two #1 rankings. How did I wind up breaking the tie? I went down each song's rankings, and this is how they shaped up:
Pyramids: 1 1 4 7
#11: 1 1 4 6
That's right, #11 beat out "Pyramids" by ONE ranking. And the crazy thing? #6 and #7 belong to the SAME PERSON.
But back to #11. #11 has eight top tens, including the aforementioned two #1s, while it also has four bottom tens. Fun fact: The highest of the four bottom ten rankings is #34. The rest are in each poster's bottom five. #11 also clears out two posters' bottom tens.

So I've lost two top 10's today. "Innuendo" and "Forgot About Dre" and truly only disappointed in "Innuendo" being so low. While I will agree wholeheartedly that it is not Queens greatest song (probably not even top 10 for me) but it definitely deserved to be higher among the songs in this rankdown. Cannot believe anyone would have it bottom 10, but that is what makes these so interesting to do. Everyone has different opinions

Congrats to both peacebone and bboat, who lose their last bottom ten with this reveal. peacebone lost all five of his remaining bottom tens in this latest set. I'll post an update with stats and a survey (that I'm sure no one will answer ) in a little bit.

I'm thinking #1 will end up being "Black Hole Sun" or "In the End", but I'm hoping that "Red Sky" can somehow wiggle its way in.

- Any songs in the top ten that surprise you?
For some reason I really did not think "Good Vibrations" would make it. I originally had it in my Top 10 but each listen of it just pushed it down for me and it is my lowest song remaining.
- What song in the 11-20 range are you most disappointed to see miss the top ten?
"Innuendo" like really. Also kinda sad that "The Red" couldn't make it as I actually liked it. Never heard it before this rankdown
- Care to predict the top ten?
10 - "The Fear" 9 - "Space Dementia" 8 - "Good Vibrations" 7 - "I Heard It Through The Gravevine" 6 - "While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Acoustic)" 5 ~ "All Apologies" 4 ~ "Red Sky" 3 ~ "The Man Who Sold The World" 2 ~ "In The End" 1 ~ "Black Hole Sun"
I don't see anything other than the top 2 being #1 honestly.
- Care to pick the runaway #1?
"Black Hole Sun" most likely, that song is incredible.
