Current top 5 would be
Happier Than Ever Halley's Comet I Didn't Change My Number (Grows listen after listen) Oxytocin Male Fantasy
They should have just released it a week or two after Your Power if it was ready instead of waiting so long.

She really caught me off guard with this album. The songs work so much better as a unit than individually. It's kind of weird how cohesive the album is because the songs themselves are generally quite different and eclectic but it somehow works. I especially love the way NDA transitions to Therefore I Am. Both are great songs in their own right but together, they act as a great 1-2 punch. It's a prime example of how important sequencing in an album can be.
I agree that they should have released this album soon after "Your Power" was released. Even with the reaction it got, she still had way more hype and excitement for the album at that time than she did now. It's baffling how long rollout was dragged out. Now instead of capitalizing on hype she now has re-build it.
Top 5 tracks at this time: Happier Than Ever Oxytocin Halley's Comet (Billie said in an interview that she almost left this off the album, thankfully she changed her mind) NDA = Therefore I Am
Honorable mentions go to Getting Older and Male Fantasy

Wow, she improved WWAFA, WDWG’s peaks in some countries. Especially, it’s truly impressive the #1 in Germany and Italy considering how difficult these markets typically are.

How unfortunate for you.

Halley's Comet has just been growing and growing on me. It was my least favorite track on first listen but now I just keep coming back to it.
NDA has just kinda defaulted to being my least favorite, even though I don't dislike it.

The physical editions of the album also contain lyrics for your comprehension.

English is not my first language and I understand almost every word she sings. Maybe you need a Babel fish.

Aside from a few lofi moments like the NDA chorus, I don't know what would even border on being tough to understand. Most of the times, her voice is actually right up front on this album.
And she doesn't sing in a depressing expression. There are outwardly romantic songs on this album, pensive ones, playful, angry, reflective, etc. and she puts that forward in her vocals too.

Labeling introspection as 'depressing' is a sign of someone lacking emotional maturity.
And her enunciation on the album is good. I'm also not a native english speaker and can understand most of the lyrics just by listening once. So maybe we should check for impacted earwax.

Someone on Twitter decided to call her music depressing in like 2018 because it was slow and it caught on like wildfire for everyone who doesn't comprehend anything past "loud = anger," "fast = happy," "slow = sad." You hate to see it.
I remember on this forum even with people saying she was suicidal after "my future" dropped like the song isn't about her looking forward to her future. But it's slow and quiet, so it must be about offing yourself, right? 🙄

Man, this cd is genuinely good. No pop hits, but I do hope this gets some legs with streaming and critical acclaim. What a great collection of songs made better by the sequencing.

This album is super strong. Better than her first. Maybe less commercial, but the quality is there.
My favs are "Oxytocin", "I Didn't Change My Number", Happier Than Ever", "NDA", and "Male Fantasy".

Debuts at #1 with 238k SPS (153k sales); a 24% decrease in SPS and 10% decrease in sales compared to her debut. I didn’t expect her to flop this hard. 😶

If you've been in any of the Hot 100 Threads you'd know her career is now over and she'll be broke two weeks from now. God...number one on the Billboard 200, what an absolutely terrible outcome. She may never make music again. Oh the humanity!

CAREER IS OVER (this is a much more subdued decline than I would have imagined for Week 2 considering there were a lot of pure sales and vinyl records for Week 1. a second week atop is definitely a win. it also helps that there's no real challenger, but the number itself would be a win regardless even if she fell to No. 2.)

Billie is front page material, so this is getting bumped. But, also, this is a classic album, period. Even the outliers like Oxycontin, NDA, Overheated, and Didn't Change My Number belong on this album. Also, only this bitch can make me enjoy spoken word. I never turn off Not My Responsibility because a) the instrumental is hypnotic and b) her voice is mesmerizing. I love how she says the words "chest," "stomach," "weaker," "quiet," "hips," and "body." It's like ASMR but when I first heard ASMR, I thought it was supposed to be sexual. It's more hypnotic and alluring, but not in a sexy way, if that makes sense. Billie really is that bitch. I'm glad I stuck with her because, as much as I loved Fall Asleep, I didn't revisit it really. This album though? Every day, I NEED to hear it and once I start, I can't stop. I usually either start at Didn't Change My Number or, lately, Bille Bossa Nova, but I think Getting Older is a great opener. Anyway, she is about to be the next Taylor Swift, constantly putting out AOTY material, I see.

This is definitely my favorite album of the year so far. I love basically every track on here. It's already my second most played album of the year too.

Shawn Mendes' little Happier Than Ever cover was cute. Also, at me stumbling upon her fan-made channel and thinking the "official" BBN video was real.
