Billie is that bitch. What don’t people get about this? There shouldn’t be a question of whether to post. If you don’t post, you are privileged and you are covertly racist, whether you pretend to be or not.
Having black people in your band or producing your music or working on your tour ain’t it. You better go to bat for them, or you can damn well be sure I’m not buying your brand in the future.

If and when the Bond movie drops I wonder if they are gonna try to push the song again. COVID kinda got in the way and it ended up being dropped (at least) 8 months in advance.

Every song (I could find) on Spotify with vocals from Billie. Let me know if I'm missing anything!

Dunno if this constitutes a new thread since we’ve had a few new songs recently but she posted this on her IG story Q&A regarding how many tracks will be on her sophomore LP:

Cool. I really like "Therefore I Am" but it hasn't been that big of a deal, so I hope they have another single before the album.

I'm assuming EIW, MF, and TIA will all be included on the album. Three top ten hits before the album is a great start!

Outside of her relationship, I don't feel like I learned anything new from her documentary. It seemed like a non-event with a lot of footage I have already seen before. Eh.
Excited for her next album tho!

Despite all the acclaim I feel like her documentary made zero noise. I'd wonder if she regrets going with Apple over Netflix or another streamer, but they apparently paid her $25 million for it, so probably not...

I watched her documentary as I'm a fan of some of her music and recognize the amazing talent that she is. While 95% of that footage was new to me, and the documentary was a good way for me to spend 2 hours, I don't think I really came out of it really knowing Billie or feeling super enthralled with her afterwards. To me, it seems more like a random assortment of videos that they tried to make into a documentary.
She starts off with saying she's who she is because of her family, so I would've liked at least a good 20 minutes kind of devoted to her family, her upbringing, etc. I don't really think I learned what led her to music at the end of the day.
I also did not know she was diagnosed with Tourettes. Part of me really likes that this wasn't made a big deal in the documentary -- but I think I would've liked it more if we could've had some expansion on how this affects people, especially young people and shine some light on it a bit.
