The real fun begins with #39, as the next three songs are separated by just four points. #39 never left the bottom five, not even once, and, though it did perform MUCH better than "Dig Down", it still could only do enough to be the lowest song in the rankdown that wasn't destined for #40. We lose eleven bottom tens with this reveal, as well as seven bottom five rankings...but, interestingly enough, no #40s.

#38 was briefly out of the bottom five at the beginning of the rankdown, but it found its way into the bottom five not too long into the ranking process and was never able to get out of the rut. With this reveal, ten bottom tens and six bottom fives go out the door, but, more importantly than all of that, we lose two #40 rankings with this next reveal. (Oh, and we lose the second-lowest standard deviation here, as well.)

#37 was also struggling to get out of first gear for pretty much the entire ranking process, with only a couple of people really doing their part to try and boost this song up to a higher position. One person went as far as to place this song near their top ten. Many of you were not as kind: 12 people put this in their bottom ten, with nine of those people placing it in their bottom fives, and we see not one, but two more #40s fall to the wayside.

One of the few songs indulge and Baron would put bottom 10.  This is easily my least favorite Muse song. (though Dig Down may take that honor soon)Yeah, it wasn't long before that happened. This one re-grew on me a bit to rank it above a few other songs but it's still one of Muse's worst. |

For a while, #36 was looking like a sure bet for bottom three. As the rankings started coming in, though, a funny thing happened: Some people put this song really high. How high? With this ranking, we lose our first top ten, while another loses a ranking pretty damn close to top ten. Yet again, though, the bottoms have it: Another 12 placed this song in their bottom ten, with six not just putting this in their bottom five, but in their bottom three, as well. Oh, and 3 people lose their #40 here.

#35 hovered around the bottom five for a while, but it was able to escape it, much to the dismay of the eleven people who placed this song in their bottom ten, including the two people that made this particular song their #40.

40. Dig Down - It's not as bad as some of you are saying, I really enjoy it. Still it ended up pretty low because they made better songs.
39. Revolt - Perfect Ranking!! Yea this was okay, a weird song.
38. Aftermath - damn this one deserved better, it was a nice chill song.
37. Follow Me - Yea this is very not Muse but I still love it. I can't get how my #40 is better though.
36. Survival - Didn't like it really, the background voices were off-putting.

Consistently the closest of the bottom seven to breaking free and challenging for a place inside the top 30, #34 ultimately found itself at the top of the very bottom. One person in particular is not going to like this, as that person will lose not just a top ten ranking, but a top five ranking. There might be others who are happy, though: 11 people placed this song in their bottom ten, with seven of those placing this in their bottom five, and we lose yet another #40 here.

To illustrate how far the bottom seven were behind the rest of the rankdown, #33 is forty-eight points ahead of #34. From here on, there's going to be losses that hurt at least someone. For a while, there was a distinct chance that #33 would finish bottom five, but a couple of rankings, in particular, helped to boost this song beyond the bottom five and to this spot, a position that it would hold down, I kid you not, for eight straight rankings. We lose two top tens with this reveal, while another seven bottom tens fall, including four bottom five rankings.

I ranked all of the Showbiz songs around the #15-25 range because I really liked them all, it was the most consistent album of theirs imo.
So yea, I wouldn't be happy to see them leaving early.

#32 was one of the most consistent songs in the entire rankdown...though, in this song's case, it was consistently mediocre. For much of the rankdown, it hovered in the mid-to-late 20's, before settling in to the upper tier of the bottom ten by the end of the rankdown. We lose one top ten here, and we also lose five bottom tens, including three bottom fives.

This is one of the few times I agree with rock posters and Dig Down is utter trash. Dont get how they release that thing with the quality they have

Good losses so far. Listening to all these songs makes me sad hearing how far Muse has fallen off. Their first four albums vs. Their last four albums (included the Dig Down album which inevitably will suck) is shocking.
