Don't Wanna Know actually stuck around more than anyone wanted on radio, it was a little annoying. Probably the one you're thinking of is Maps which really wasn't bad but I don't think anyone remembers

I'm sorry but none of those songs sound similar. Don't Wanna Know is tropical sounding, Animals has a darker tone to it and Maps is more playful and bright, as well as being a lot faster than the other two. Maps and Animals are great, Don't Wanna Know has some of the most basic lyrics to come out of 2016, which is saying a lot (work work work work workerowkrwkrowkrk)

As far as I can tell, Don't Wanna Know didn't have any updates as swift as Look is having. It actually stuck around #1 overall long enough to block Alessia's Scars to Your Beautiful.

But yea, Animals fell hard. The song had daily drops of 3.5M - or even more! - for the entire tracking week of Jan 14 - 20, 2015. (Jan 14; Jan 15; Jan 16; Jan 17; Jan 18; Jan 19; Jan 20.) I didn't know it stumbled that much.

Oof at LWYMMD. At least when "Die Young" took those huge plunges it was understandable because of Sandy Hook. Outside circumstances affected its airplay. People outside Taylor's (admittedly considerable) fanbase really just didn't care much for LWYMMD.

I like "Havana". I don't like Camila, and don't wish for the best in her career. However, there's numerous examples of what people assumed was a breakthrough hit single or album and a floundering commercial career to follow. I even highlighted one example in the post. My personal feelings aside, what she and her team does after "Havana" peaks sets the course of her career. They've got to get it right. They've put in a lot of money and groundwork to solidify a solid streaming base and gp exposure. If they botch the follow-up single, it'll be tough to recover. But I don't think they'll give up on her easily. CITC could have easily been the end of her career, but she's bounced back.

Basically, unlike many on this board, my personal opinions don't inhibit my ability to have objective, critical thought. :)

Wait THAT's why the song fell that hard? That's so stupid, I mean I get it but still poor Kesha I feel like she got robbed of like a top 30 spot on the 2013 year end list because of stuff she never could have predicted that has nothing to do with the quality of her song (which I like alot)
