Okay so I reviewed my submissions and final numbers again and it turns out that I did include your list, I just haven’t been including you in the reveal so from here on out I will. Phew, I thought I missed you completely...

Huey Lewis & Pointer Sisters haven't lost any songs yet? & Cum On Feel The Noize outlasts Round & Round - that's all wrong! Shockingly both have not lost any songs yet (and without giving too much away...their time is coming real soon).
"Cum On Feel The Noise" benefited as being someone's No. 1 so it's still in (for now)...
I'm not surprised if they didn't lost any. They both had very popular hits back in the 80s.

So this is how I ranked the eliminated songs:
07. New Moon On Monday - Duran Duran
30. Church Of The Poison Mind - Culture Club 32. Undercover Of The Night - Rolling Stones
44. Got A Hold On Me - Christine McVie 46. State Of Shock - Jacksons 47. Almost Paradise - Mike Reno and Ann Wilson
60. Infatuation - Rod Stewart 62. Nobody Told Me - John Lennon 64. Hard Habit To Break – Chicago 65. Rock Me Tonite - Billy Squier 67. The Longest Time - Billy Joel 68. Time Will Reveal – Debarge
70. Love Somebody - Rick Springfield 76. Yah Mo B There - James Ingram and Michael McDonald 77. Round And Round – Ratt 79. An Innocent Man - Billy Joel
80. Give It Up - K.C. 84. Dancing In The Sheets – Shalamar 87. They Don't Know - Tracy Ullman 88. Tonight - Kool and The Gang
90. If Ever You're In My Arms Again - Peabo Bryson 91. Joanna - Kool and The Gang 92. Stuck On You - Lionel Richie 93. Think Of Laura - Christopher Cross 94. To All The Girls I've Loved Before - Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson 95. On The Dark Side - John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band 96. Breakin'... There's No Stopping Us - Ollie And Jerry 97. I Still Can't Get Over Loving You - Ray Parker Jr. 98. When You Close Your Eyes - Night Ranger 99. Breakdance - Irene Cara
Not too bad, only 3 top 40 lost and almost all my bottom 10 gone. Unfortunately, my #100 will end up in top 20, if not top 10.

80. Johanna (71): Nice melody and vocals, but just a bit soo saccharine for me. 79. Dancing in the Sheets (78): I remember the video based on the Foot Loose scenes only was on high rotation back home. Actually, I just watched the real video for the first time last week 78. Love Somebody (85): good chorus, but that's it for me 77. Infatuation (61): This was BIG back home. I like the guitar sound with pop layering. I do like it, but the biggest hit in my personal chart from Rod this year was Some Guys Have All The _uck. That one would've been in my top 25 had it been in this RD. 76. Round and Round (94): This is the type of 'rock' that I disliked at that time. I felt it tried to appear as rock and hard but it was pop at its core, just without as much melody. 75. Tonight (63): I really liked this song since I first heard it-and bought the vinyl :) It was like an earlier version of Fresh. I love the bridge and overall vibe of the song. 74. Almost Paradise (47): >:( Ann sounds divine, as always, and Mike complements her voice. Strong 80s ballad. May be a bit ballad, but those voices are ACE. 73. On The Dark Side (89): Cute little song that sounds just a bit too much like a rejected Springsteen track 72. State of Shock (75): This may have been one of the most disappointing superstar duets. I didn't know it was credited to Jacksons only. Back home it was Michael Jackson & Mick Jagger. On hype alone it reached #1, but it didn't have much longevity. 71. New Moon on Monday (92): I'm a Duran Duran fan, but this one doesn't do much for me. It's like the only good part of it is strong chorus, but the verses sound lazy...

Damn, two of my top 10, three of my top 20, and 12 of my top 50 are already out in the bottom 30.
At least five of my bottom 10 are already gone, including my #100. I think at least one of the remaining five will make it into the top half, though.

Counting down 70-61 next...and this round of 10 will be interesting because a certain act will lose all three of their chart entries...
I DO hope that it's Huey Lewis and NOT Pointer Sisters!! Cum On is an 80s classic! it's remained a staple in retro shows and radio stations back home, so I hope it's not revealed soon...

Pointer Sisters aren't getting blanked this early, they tick too many Pulse boxes
Automatic had better not be the first of their songs to leave, anyway

#76. Round And Round - Ratt I'm surprised it lasted this long. I know most are scared of guitar rock now a days, but I didn't know you were scared to dance to Rock. This is a classic Groove rock metal song. The hottie in the MV is also featured in Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana" video. Her name was Lisa Dean. I didn't know she passed away at such a young age? Anyway, gorgeous lady and best metal song to dance to ever.
Only reason it's not my #1 song, is because my favorite band of all time is on this list as well..

#80. Joanna - Kool and the Gang"Celebrate" and "Ladies Night" was probably my favorite era for the band. #79. Dancing In The Sheets - ShalamarAt least this wasn't the title track. "Daed Give Away" is a much better Shalamar song. #78. Love Somebody - Rick SpringfieldNow I know you guys don't like Rick Springfield? Or is it guitar rock that scares most away? Either way, Aussies know how to rock. #77. Infatuation - Rod StewartThis was a good year for Rod. "Baby Jane" and "Some Guys have All The Luck" were equally great. #75. Tonight - Kool & The GangThis is the style I love when it comes to R&B disco dance music. #74. Almost Paradise - Mike Reno & Ann WilsonThis was great for a power ballad. The voice of Loverboy and Heart really hit the bulls eye. #73. On The Dark Side - John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown BandWhy so low? That 's right. It has guitar and a rock vibe. For many years I actually thought; Michael Pare, sang the song. #72. State Of Shock - The JacksonsI have to admit that this is another 80's song I never cared for. "Shake Your Body "Down To The Ground" leaves this in the dust. #71. New Moon On Monday - Duran DuranWhat the fuck did I just witness? A Duran Duran song out before the top 40. I gotta say that these reveals tonight really sucked.

Continuing my own personal chart of 1984. I can actually reveal all my songs except two tonight. I actually found the old notebook where I would jot my charts. It could be considered a relic now a days. Everyone of these singles also charted on the Billboard Hot 100. My own chart peak appears in (). Biilboard's appears like this (B#)71. ? 72. It Ain't Enough - Corey Hart (B17) (6) Corey scored two top 40 hits off "First Offense". I love the horns in this pop ballad. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3nb-TIfBgk73. New Girl Now - Honeymoon Suite (B57) (7) Canadian Rock was hot in the 80's. Bryan Adams, Loverboy, Corey Hart. This was the first single ,and it got mad play on MTV. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK0AmgDGpPo74. Original Sin - INXS (B58) (6) A great New Wave band of the 80's that I first heard on KROQ. This is an amazing song. Don't know why it flopped on Billboard. Maybe the chorus was too edgy? www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c7fElWw2oA75. I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar (B26) (8) My favorite song off "VOA". www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvV3nn_de2k76. The More You Live, The More You Love - Flock Of Seagulls (B56) (10) There was life for this band of New Wave school Teachers after "I Ran". An underrated classic which showed a great skillful New Wave ballad style. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TROOtt-68F477. ? 78. Midnite Maniac - Krokus (B71) (7) Metal was so HOT in the 80's even this Swedish Metal band got Billboard Hot 100 action. This was the Glam Metal style of bands like Slade and Quiet Riot. The older kids on the block got me into Metal. www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-g0DsfGfNc79. Wouldn't It Be Good - Nik Kershaw (B46) (8) Many more artists had a chance on the charts in the 80's. That's one of the things I loved about the era. Nick was huge in the U.K. with this Top 5 smash. . www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTLTG4FTNBQ80. Almost Paradise - Mike Reno and Ann Wilson (7) I put this classic Power ballad around where we all ranked it as a team. I charted Mike Reno with his own band; Loverboy, many more times in the 80's. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc40EasXz18

Drindie, here are the songs off your chart that I know of: - Original Sin: YES!! My personal favorite from Inxs. Reached the top of my personal chart and was a hit back home. Love the music, the guitars, background vocals, the new wave style, etc. - The more you live, the more you love: personal and country top 5. Strong song, that I still like a lot but makes me VERY nostalgic as it has that melancholic vibe that hits home quickly (they’d chart one last time two years later and have some success with Who’s that girl) - I can’t drive 55: I discovered this one in 1986 thanks to our music TV channel, which put this one in good rotation. Liked it
