Tones has one more week before she hits ACR, unless she increases streams this week. Incidentally that would put her out of the race for the Christmas #1.

Ed Sheeran Crowned Decade's Top Recording Artist In U.K. 12/11/2019 by Lars Brandlewww.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/8545958/ed-sheeran-crowned-decade-top-recording-artist-ukIt’s official: Ed Sheeran is the U.K.’s top recording artist of the decade. The Brit is the recipient of the Official Charts Record Breaker Award, the latest in a frighteningly long list of accolades accumulated since 2010. According to the Official Charts Company, the singer and songwriter earned the most No. 1s (12) across its singles and albums charts during the past 10 years, and he bagged the most weeks at the summit (79 weeks). He’s the third recipient of the OCC’s award, following Justin Bieber (the first act in history to hold all top three positions in the Official Singles Chart simultaneously), and Beatles great Paul McCartney (for his 22 career No. 1s, better than any other act). Speaking on his latest honor, Sheeran commented: "Thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the past 10 years. Especially my amazing fans. Here’s to the next 10." Martin Talbot, CEO of the Official Charts Company, noted: "Ed truly has dominated this decade and is a worthy recipient of this amazing new award. "At the start of the decade, he was a little known -- albeit highly rated -- young 18-year-old lad from Suffolk. But his catalogue of achievements since then are genuinely remarkable. Today, he is firmly established among the highest level of global music superstars." Sheeran’s trophy room must surely be close to full. His “Shape Of You” was deemed the most-streamed song of the decade on Spotify (2.3 billion plays) and on the touring side, he recently became just the second artist in Boxscore history to have the top-grossing tour for two consecutive years. He was named IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year for 2017. The following year, Sheeran shifted more than one million tickets on his Divide tour of Australia, smashing a decades-long record.

Dance Monkey spends 11 weeks at #1, meaning that is the longest running #1 by a female artist in UK chart history surpassing I Will Always Love You and Umbrella.
It has decline for three consecutive weeks, however, so it will be hit by ACR next week.
LadBaby has an insane lead on iTunes so that might be the Christmas #1.

I find it hilarious that the OC Singles Christmas #1 could be "sausage roll" related again, although I find it weird that the tracking week doesn't actually include Christmas day:
15 December 2019 By Lauren Kreisler
After 48 hours, YouTuber and reigning Christmas Number 1 champion LadBaby, takes early lead in the biggest chart battle of the year.
After 48 hours, YouTuber and reigning Christmas Number 1 champion LadBaby, takes an early lead again in the biggest chart battle of the year – the race to be crowned Official Christmas Number 1 2019.
Fresh from last year’s victory as 2018's Christmas Number 1 and throwing his hat into the festive ring for a second time, LadBaby’s I Love Sausage Rolls, a playful twist on Joan Jett classic I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, raising money for foodbank charity The Trussell Trust, goes head to head with Stormzy ft. Ed Sheeran & Burna Boy’s Own It (2), plus Christmas classic Wham!’s Last Christmas (3) and Ellie Goulding’s River (4).
Two days in to the chart week and LadBaby takes a strong lead on downloads, the sheer streaming power of his closest rivals however means the gap could close significantly throughout the week.
With less than 2,000 copies separating Stormzy, Wham! and Ellie Goulding, things could shuffle around as the week progresses. It is well and truly all to play for over the coming days ahead of Friday’s final whistle.
If LadBaby does maintain his lead, he will be the first artist to score consecutive Christmas Number 1s in over 20 years, since the Spice Girls, who famously triumphed three years on the bounce in 1996 to 1998 with 2 Become 1, Too Much, and Goodbye.
Martin Talbot, Chief Executive, Official Charts Company comments “As we enter the biggest week of the year, the race for Official Christmas Number 1 is underway - and it looks as though it could well be a sausage roll Christmas once again. LadBaby’s latest sausage song is a genuine banger and is already looking like the track to beat - with Stormzy, Ellie Goulding and Wham! all in his wake.”
Own It is one of three tracks from Stormzy’s new Heavy Is The Head album on course for Top 20 entries – Own It (2), Audacity (8) and Lessons (13).
In its 25th anniversary year, Mariah Carey’s festive classic All I Want For Christmas Is You proves its enduring appeal - though it's never been Christmas Number 1, it is the UK's most streamed track of the week so far, riding high in sixth place after two days. Could it climb even higher before the week is out? Take a look at our Official Chart Flashback, remembering the chart battle that saw All I Want For You kept off Number 1 by East 17.
An ode to XFM presenter Chris Moyles, is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Dominick The Donkey - the track that the then Radio 1 Breakfast DJ championed all the way to Number 3 during Christmas 2011. This time around, ‘Merry ChrisMoyles Everyone’ an original song by Matt Hulbert opens in the Top 40 at Number 37.
The Christmas Number 1 race runs from Friday 13 December through to 11.59pm Thursday 19 December. The Top 40 will be counted down exclusively on BBC Radio 1’s The Official Chart with Scott Mills from 4pm Friday 20 December, crowning the winner of the Official Christmas Number 1 2019. The full Christmas Official Singles Chart and Official Albums Chart will be published on OfficialCharts.com from 5.45pm.

I find it weird that the tracking week doesn't actually include Christmas day: The Christmas chart is the last chart revealed before, or on, Christmas Day. The UK has a weird fascination with Christmas #1. Usually a slew of novelty/charity songs, and for a while X Factor winners singles, are released/pushed during the week to specifically grab the #1. Oftentimes with substantially higher sales than normal. I thought this phenomenon would die in the streaming era, but I guess not.

^The only previous artists to have back to back Christmas #1s in the Official Singles charts were The Beatles (1963-1965) and Spice Girls (1996-1998).

I love the UK's fascination for the Christmas #1. Will always remember the campaign to have that Rage Against The Machine song block X Factor lol
If Hot 100 had that thing and artists/label care for it, the Hot 100 threads will even have more lengthy discussion debating if it's a legit hit or not, year-end or decade-end chart ranking, its legacy etc lol

^It appears so. In the Official Singles Charts playlist they have Joni Mitchell's version. I did find Ellie Goulding's version in another playlist but it is unplayable song there.

^Yeah. Surprising it was an Amazon Music exclsuive. 29 out of the top 40 songs this week were holiday songs. Also, it is notable that I Love Sausage Rolls fell from #1 to #57.

The plot thickens...
Ellie is #10 on the audio streaming chart (the 9 songs ahead of her are all on ACR) and not even top 100 on the sales chart.

So, Last Christmas is #1 on Streaming chart, right? But River is #1 overall? Amazon doesn't count towards streaming or?

So, Last Christmas is #1 on Streaming chart, right? But River is #1 overall? Amazon doesn't count towards streaming or? It's because all of the Christmas songs that are 3+ years old are affected by the ACR rule (their streams are cut in half permanently). Whereas River was released in 2019, so its stream are counted in full. The streaming chart doesn't factor in ACR.

Whereas River was released in 2019, so its stream are counted in full. The streaming chart doesn't factor in ACR. Didn't know that streams are cut in half, I thought it's like 1/3 or something. Ridiculous. Yeah. The OCC (or rather the UK music industry) weren't happy with how slow the charts had become. Ever since streaming was implemented, songs were having much longer chart runs and fewer songs were entering the top 10/20/40. And Ed Sheeran had 9 songs in the top 10 at one point. From 1995-ish through 2015, record companies manipulated the hell out of the UK charts with held back releases. But streaming broke that system within 2 years of its implementation. So the OCC came up with this ACR system to artificially freshen up the charts. But now the most popular song of the week isn't necessarily #1 anymore. It's just a mess. Oh and at some point they put all songs older than 3 years on permanent ACR; presumably to purposely hinder the influx of Christmas songs... which hasn't been very effective looking at the current chart.
