woot finally got it in! This was really difficult because, probably more than any other artist I've ranked, I really like most of these songs on a pretty equal level. My whole top 15 are songs I REALLY like.

FINALLY submitted for this!! I knew a pitifully small chunk of Patty's hits (she's a little before my time), so it was nice to listen to more and familiarize myself with her music :-) I even found a new discovery that ended up being my #1 over a few other songs that I already knew and loved from her!

Gonna steal Kanenrá:ke's lead on the formatting choices, lol. :-p Questions: What song is going to be #1? Gonna guess "Blame It on Your Heart" What is going to make up the Top 5? "Blame It on Your Heart," "I'm That Kind of Girl," "Timber, I'm Falling in Love," "She Drew a Broken Heart," and "Chains." Really I have no idea tho, lol. What other songs do you expect to be out near the bottom? Several of the duets (namely Dwight's and Bob's) and more of her earlier work from the 80s before she blew up big. Which album will be the first one to be eliminated fully? Sleepless Nights or Mountain Soul IIWhich Duet will be the first to fall? Bob Seger How do you think your #1 will do? Hopefully Top 20 at least. How well do you think your #55 will do? Thinking it's a good candidate for Bottom 5. From each album below name the song you think will place highest and the one you think will place the lowest: High = Bold Low = italicized~MCA Years~ Patty Loveless (1987: "Lonely Days, Lonely Nights", "Wicked Ways", "I Did", and "After All") If My Heart Had Windows (1988: "You Saved Me", "If My Heart Had Windows", and "A Little Bit In Love") Honky Tonk Angel (1988: "Blue Side of Town", "Don't Toss Us Away", "Timber, I'm Falling In Love", "The Lonely Side of Love", and "Chains") On Down The Line (1990: "On Down The Line", "The Night's Too Long", "I'm That Kind of Girl", and "Blue Memories") Up Against My Heart (1991: "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)", "Jealous Bone", and "Can't Stop Myself From Loving You") Which MCA single will last the longest? What song is going to be #1? "Blame It On Your Heart"
What is going to make up the Top 5? So many possibilities! Definitely "Blame It On Your Heart". From there it's hard to say! I'd like to see it be "Jealous Bone", "You Can Feel Bad", "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye", and "To Have You Back Again".
What other songs will make up the Top 10? Maybe "Chains", "She Drew A Broken Heart", "You Don't Even Know Who I Am", "I Try To Think About Elvis", "Timber, I'm Falling In Love". Although some of those could be top 5 contenders too.
What song is going to be #55? The Bob Seger duet.
What songs will make up the Bottom 5? Bob Seger's duet, "Busted", some random '80s songs, and maybe another duet and/or bluegrass song.
What other songs do you expect to be out near the bottom? All of the bluegrass songs.
Which album will be the first one to be eliminated fully? Mountain Soul II
Which album will be the first to lose a song? Either of the Mountain Soul albums, please.
Which Duet will be the first to fall? Sob Beger.
How do you think your #1 will do? I don't know much about Patty's catalog, so I don't know how people feel about her music compared against itself! However, I would like to think that my #1 is a top 5 contender. I doubt it will be #1, but it will be criminal if it is not top 5.
How well do you think your #55 will do? Absolutely terribly, hopefully :-) I could see it being in last place!
From each album below name the song you think will place highest and the one you think will place the lowest:
~MCA Years~ Patty Loveless (1987: "Lonely Days, Lonely Nights", "Wicked Ways", "I Did", and "After All") If My Heart Had Windows (1988: "You Saved Me", "If My Heart Had Windows", and "A Little Bit In Love") Honky Tonk Angel (1988: "Blue Side of Town", "Don't Toss Us Away", "Timber, I'm Falling In Love", "The Lonely Side of Love", and "Chains") On Down The Line (1990: "On Down The Line", "The Night's Too Long", "I'm That Kind of Girl", and "Blue Memories") Up Against My Heart (1991: "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)", "Jealous Bone", and "Can't Stop Myself From Loving You")
Which MCA single will last the longest? "Jealous Bone"
~Epic Years~ Only What I Feel (1993: "Blame It On Your Heart", "Nothin' but The Wheel", "You Will", and "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye") When Fallen Angels Fly (1994: "I Try To Think About Elvis", "Here I Am", "You Don't Even Know Who I Am", and "Halfway Down") The Trouble With The Truth (1996: "You Can Feel Bad", "A Thousand Times A Day", "Lonely Too Long", "She Drew A Broken Heart", and "The Trouble With The Truth") Long Stretch of Lonesome (1997: "You Don't Seem To Miss Me", "To Have You Back Again", "High On Love", and "Like Water Into Wine") Classics (1999: "Can't Get Enough" and "My Kind of Woman/My Kind of Man") Strong Heart (2000: "That's The Kind of Mood I'm In", "The Last Thing On My Mind", and "Strong Heart") Mountain Soul (2001: "The Boys Are Back In Town", Out of Control Raging Fire", and "Cheap Whiskey") On Your Way Home (2003: "Lovin' All Night", "On Your Way Home", and "I Wanna Believe") Deamin' My Dreams (2005: "Keep Your Distance") Sleepless Nights (2008: "Why Baby Why") Mountain Soul II (2009: "Busted")
Which Epic single will last the longest? "Blame It On Your Heart"
Any opinions you wanna share before results? Just that it was very nice to start becoming more familiar with Patty's music!! I made lots of great discoveries!

Patty is one of my top 5 singers of all-time! So sad I only just now saw this ranking.
Since my ranking won't count but I love her, I am going to post what would have been my top 10.

so I was the only one to rank this higher than 35, I personally love this song, always have. I know Bob Seger's voice is rough but I love the way Patty sounds on this along with him, it works well for me. I was hoping it would at least make it higher than one other song but it couldn't. That song is the #54 song though...

I could not believe how mediocre this song was considering how wonderful Bob and Patty both are... Plus Bob's duet with Martina is straight fire! So I was definitely expecting more from this one.

this is honestly the only song on this list I'm not a fan of at all. Not sure why because I like them both but they don't sound good together
due to how late it is I am ending here, I will post more tomorrow night!

What is that chart on the bottom right? The first image has everyones ranks and the third image has where the song was ranked during the submissions.
