I changed the images for the lyrics because it was taking too long to get each one done. I could scrap lyrics altogether, just wanted to try it out but I'm not sure about it. I may post #44 before I go into work but won't be able to post more until after 8pm tonight. |

I love the way their voices sounded together on this, but the lyrics are admittedly really basic.

I love this song a lot. was sad that it got tanked as bad as it did because they do sound great together. Lyrically it is pretty basic and deserves to be on the low end but I felt like it deserved to be in the low 30's at least.
#43 is coming shortly!

Oh wow, I'm a little surprised to see "Lonely Days, Lonely Nights" leaving so early! Such a catchy debut single! I may have overranked it, but it really stood out to me for some reason so it kept getting the benefit of the doubt whenever I wasn't sure whether to put another song above it or below it.

"My Kind of Woman/My Kind of Man" has never been a favorite for me and is easily near the bottom of her discography. Not to say I dislike it because it has grown on me a lot over the years but never enough to rank high and honestly I'm disappointed that it made it higher than "No Good For Me".
"Lonely Days, Lonely Nights" is a great debut single and it has grown on me a lot the more I listen to it. I'm okay with it going here but I do like it a lot
"Strong Heart" has always been near the bottom of her album of the same name that I was surprised it was a single. She had a couple MUCH stronger choices for singles on that album, especially "She Never Stopped Loving Him".
"Why Baby Why" was not my favorite for the longest time but it definitely grew on me a lot. Am okay with it leaving here.
Up next a title track of one of her albums will be leaving us! It also has a highest ranking of #13!

I’m surprised “Strong Heart” is that high, but it had consistent rankings. I love “Why Baby Why” and am sad it’s so low. It had rankings more random.

"Strong Heart" is gorgeous to me, but while listening to it (it was a discovery from this rankdown) I knew that it was gonna be unpopular and not place well here.

I was surprised with the fact that I was one of the higher rankers for this song. I thought "If My Heart Had Windows" would do better than it did. This also means that "A Little Bit In Love" is the final single from that album that is still in this!
On that note "A Little Bit In Love" remains the oldest single remaining in this rankdown as her debut album was completely eliminated with "Lonely Days, Lonely Nights" at #42!
The second single from her third album Honky Tonk Angel has already been eliminated ("Don't Toss Us Away") but up next one of the remaining four singles will be next to leave! Which single will be the second one to fall? ("Blue Side of Town", "Timber, I'm Falling In Love", "The Lonely Side of Love", or "Chains"?

"If My Heart Had Windows" is beautiful, but I am also okay seeing it leave. We are running out of songs that don't deserve to place highly, and that was one of the more boring options out of what was left.
I'm guessing "Blue Side Of Love" will be next!

Okay so, I LOVE "Busted" as a song. I grew up listening to John Conlee. That said, I really didn't like Patty's cover of it at ALL. It honestly stripped the song of everything I love about it.

Anyway, "High On Love" is a major jam, so it definitely should NOT be leaving now... Deserved to make the bottom of the top half, at least.
Is the Travis Tritt duet still in? I think we're gonna say goodbye to "Out Of Control Raging Fire" next if we haven't already!
