Listened to Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1 today as well as Motion and 18 months. Outstanding catalog. Haven't been impressed with his new stuff other than the Dua Lipa collab, but still in tune for some new music.

I was wondering why my phone was vibrating a lot and it was because of his tweets.

Either way, he deleted his tweet regarding "One Kiss" because there are three days left, although it's the #1 song of the 2018 year-end chart in the UK, which was counting down by Dev and Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 today.

As a side note, he confirmed that he hasn't drunk since 2014 after the arrhythmia he had that year and he keeps saying that he's shit singer. Sigh! :(

I think you misunderstood my post. Yesterday, Adam tweeted that "One Kiss" was the song which sold the most in the UK this year, but he deleted it because there are three more days (two days now) to count and I assume it's because this and "God's Plan" are closed, despite the former was the #1 song of the year-end chart there in the countdown that was aired by BBC Radio 1 from the Official Charts.

The OCC article is up and it confirms that "One Kiss" was the biggest selling song of 2018 in the UK, while "Promises" landed at #25.

Congratulations to Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, who claim the UK's biggest single of 2018 on the Official Chart with "One Kiss".

The track, which spent eight weeks at Number 1 between April and June, takes the top spot on the chart of the year with a combined sales figure of 1.57 million – made up of 137m audio streams, 15m video streams and 244,000 downloads.

It was closely fought race for the top spot; Drake's "God's Plan" finishes just 7,000 combined sales behind (1.56m).

"Giant" debuts at #7 in the UK, becoming his 26th overall Top 10 there.

Sam Smith and Calvin Harris spent six weeks at No.1 together with "Promises" but competed for highest debut honours on the latest chart, with Smith's Normani collaboration "Dancing With A Stranger" up against Harris' Rag'n'Bone Man pairing, "Giant".

Both land in the Top 10, with Smith's single becoming his 10th Top 10 entry and 18th hit in all as it debuts at No.4 (39,160 sales), while Harris scores his 26th Top 10 hit and 38th Top 75 entry with "Giant" (No.7, 32,933 sales). Normani and Rag'n'Bone Man are comparative novices, with "Dancing With A Stranger" becoming the former's second hit, and "Giant" becoming Rag'n'Bone Man's fourth hit.

And it also becomes his 40th Top 40 in production in the UK.

There's an article on Forbes which listed Calvin Harris' upcoming album as one of the most anticipated Dance/Electronic albums of 2019.

The Scottish producer likes to spread his records out by two or three years, so while 2019 might seem like a bit too early to expect a full-length, he has been sharing music throughout 2018, and all that work suggests another proper album is well on its way. With "One Kiss" (with Dua Lipa) and "Promises" (with Sam Smith), Harris scored two new No. 1 hits in his home country, and neither he, nor his record label, is likely to let those tunes disappear without featuring them on a record.

Regarding the latter, "How Deep Is Your Love", "This Is What You Came For" and "My Way" (in a lesser extent) say hi. However, none of them wouldn't have been appropriated in Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 though~

Yeah with him these songs might just be standalones, but the fact that we're on the third one kinda gives me hope. (He can let Nuh Ready as a standalone... I still forget about it all the time).
