Sadly, this isn't a joke. He mostly received nominations for British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year, being one of the most nominated in the former category with seven along Robbie Williams and Take That. Also, the latter is a fan voted award since 2014, so he technically didn't have any option there against One Direction and Little Mix.

However, I'm glad that he finally won not one but two BRIT awards this year.

Looking for much of the week as if it would deliver Calvin Harris his 11th No.1 single and Rag'N'Bone Man his first, "Giant" was pipped at the post by 22-year-old Glaswegian singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved", which jumps 3-1 (57,698 sales, including 47,031 from sales-equivalent streams).

On its seventh straight week in the Top 10 since release, "Giant"'s chart-topping ambitions may have been thwarted but its 4-2 move brings its highest chart position and sales (55,799) to date. For the moment, it is Harris' seventh No.2 hit and Rag'N'Bone Man's second, equalling the December 2016 peak of his introductory smash, "Human".

He was interviewed by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 and he mentioned that there was a "bad" song he released in 2012, which it seems to be "Let's Go". Also, he said that there's new music he's excited about, but it won't be released for some time, implying that it could be the stuff he did with Dua Lipa.
