Damn, I wish this one had made Top 10. Love this song. This and "Tell Me Why" are her two best songs imo.

I love "I Saw the Light" and wish it had made Top 10 over a couple of the songs that made it. Mainly "Dallas".

Hmmm... let's see how this goes. My Top 10 predictions:
01. Brooks & Dunn - Neon Moon 02. Reba McEntire - Is There Life Out There 03. Pam Tillis - Maybe It Was Memphis 04. Reba McEntire - The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia 05. John Anderson - Seminole Wind 06. Alan Jackson - Midnight in Montgomery 07. John Anderson - Straight Tequila Night 08. Tracy Lawrence - Sticks and Stones 09. Collin Raye - Love, Me 10. Alan Jackson - Dallas
Have to say I'm rather disappointed so many great female songs just missed out on the Top 10 over stuff like "Love, Me" and "Dallas." Meh.

I'm glad STN is in though, I underranked both it and his other single.

I'm a little disappointed that The Greatest Man I Never Knew and I Saw the Light didn't make it to top 10 especially because there are a few songs still in that has no business being so high (especially my #93).

If you swap out Dallas for I Saw The Light, I think you'd have a pretty ideal and representative top 10.
I'll say the Top 10 goes something like this:
10. Dallas 9. Stick And Stones (this is a great song, but I'm surprised it's hung around so much longer than Today's Lonely Fool) 8. The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia 7. Love, Me 6. Straight Tequila Night 5. Seminole Wind 4. Maybe It Was Memphis 3. Midnight In Montgomery 2. Is There Life Out There 1. Neon Moon

Well I roll into the top 10 with a perfect ranking for #11’s “I Saw the Light!” I initially had this in my top ten but I think I replaced it with “For My Broken Heart.”
Hard to predict the top 10 as I never would’ve guessed that John Anderson would have two songs make it in...but here goes:
1. Reba McEntire - Is There Life Out There 2. Pam Tillis - Maybe It Was Memphis 3. Reba McEntire - The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia 4. Brooks & Dunn - Neon Moon 5. John Anderson - Straight Tequila Night 6. Alan Jackson - Midnight in Montgomery 7. Alan Jackson - Dallas 8. John Anderson - Seminole Wind 9. Tracy Lawrence - Sticks and Stones 10. Collin Raye - Love, Me

I'm disappointed with all of the gems that went out 11-20. As a whole, I prefer that group to the top 10. My predictions:
1. Is There Life Out There 2. Maybe It Was Memphis 3. The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia 4. Neon Moon 5. Midnight In Montgomery 6. Love, Me 7. Sticks And Stones 8. Straight Tequila Night 9. Seminole Wind 10. Dallas

"No One Else On Earth" is such an iconic song! I am shocked to see it miss the top 10. Very few songs have been more popular during my lifetime. It is by far Wynonna's best-remembered song where I'm from, so I figured it was a lock for the top 10. The attitude she brings to this song is infectious! Out of all the Reba songs, I am least shocked to see "The Greatest Man I Never Knew" miss the top 10. I figured it would be her first song out, tbh. It is AMAZING, but I could just see a case being made for people to find it a little boring. Also damn what a lyrical masterpiece "My Next Broken Heart" is incredible, as are most of Brooks & Dunn's hits from the '90s. I am sad they never seem to make the top 10 :( "I Feel Lucky" is overrated. The melody is nothing special, and is honestly kind of annoying. If I had been alive for its chart run, I would have probably found myself disliking it, only to grow to appreciate it more once it left the charts. That's the type of song it feels like to me. So I am fine seeing it miss the top 10. I am also shocked this next Wynonna song made it this far. I had seriously never heard it before in my life. This was the #1 most played song of the year?!??! Working on top 10 predictions next!

Okay, before I post my predictions, let me just say, this top 10 is PERFECT!!!!! I love every single one of these songs!!!! And I am thrilled to see some new names in the top 10! Collin Raye, John Anderson, and Tracy Lawrence are all criminally underrated, and Alan Jackson frequently gets neglected in rankdowns as well. I do feel like "Dallas" is out of place in this list, but frankly everything else here is among the best songs of my entire life... 10. Dallas - Alan Jackson 9. Love, Me - Collin Raye 8. Seminole Wind - John Anderson 7. Midnight In Montgomery - Alan Jackson 6. Sticks And Stones - Tracy Lawrence 5. Straight Tequila Night - John Anderson 4. Neon Moon - Brooks & Dunn 3. The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia - Reba McEntire 2. Maybe It Was Memphis - Pam Tillis 1. Is There Life Out There - Reba McEntire Also an interesting tidbit, NONE of these artists has won a rankdown before! (No, not even Queen Reba...) It will be awesome to see somebody new winning a rankdown

As the Black Eyed Peas would say, let's get it started! Here's a clue for #10:

Hmm...I’m going to guess we say goodbye to “Sticks and Stones” first. Noooooooo, I hope not!!! It's too soon! I'm too young for that song to die! :'( (But I agree, because I see lots of similarities between Tracy and Jason as vocalists) {Spoiler} Aside from the fact that Tracy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jason

Just for funsies, here are all my remaining ranks! 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 11, 14 21, 22 37 Not too shabby!!!! Definitely think it'll come down to something in my top 15 winning, maybe even my #2 (I was hopeful for my #1, but after the hint above confirmed that the winner is either going to be "Neon Moon" or "Is There Life Out There", I no longer have hope for it... Lol)

Since Jason Aldean did a duet with Tracy Lawrence on his latest album it definitely seems to point to him as the next one out and I'll be honest I'm okay with that one going. That being said I do feel that hint is a little too easy so maybe not
ETA: maybe John Anderson because he is one of Jason Aldean's influences?

Hey! We haven't seen this guy in a long time now, have we? When Jason Aldean was a young'un (okay, a teenager), he expressed interest in performing on stage after watching some country music awards on TV. This was one of two songs he performed way back when and the other was mentioned by tim . As you can see, all but three of us put this in our top 40...and...I must recognize the p-p-p-p-perfect rankings from LBTrocks , tim , and Kanenrá:ke ! This is definitely an iconic song not just from John, but also country music in general. His other remaining is more so imo; in fact, his other one hasn't burnt on me yet and it prolly never will...

I edited my post and see you posted this right before I posted it that I thought it could be him.
I am glad that "Seminole Wind" is out before "Straight Tequila Night" which is amazing (and I definitely underranked!)

“Seminole Wind” is an iconic song and is very deserving of a top ten finish for this year. I assumed “Straight Tequila Night” would end up ranking higher, but I have tired of it some due to it getting overplayed...it’s a song I’ve grown up with since I started listening to country radio in ‘92 lol.

Coming up next is the song with the lowest standard deviation!
Oddly enough, though, only three people put this in their top 20, with one almost putting it in their top 5.

I'm so glad that "Seminole Wind" made the top 10! Fantastic song.
"Dallas" is actually really good. Y'all know I'm not an Alan Jackson fan, but my parents owned this album so I kind of have a soft spot for it.
