I'm gonna guess that this is where I lose my #1. I hope not but I expect it to be out before the Top 5 even though it is easily deserving of the Top 5.

Man some of y'all did this one real dirty. I actually had this as my #1 at some point, but I decided to let my top 5 serve as my #1 instead. :kii: Unlike a few people that I shall not mention, most of us really liked this one, regardless of whether radio beats this to death or not. This was also one of my favorite country songs from my childhood and I never really understood the sentiment behind this one until I got much older. Still a nice song to listen to, even though the lyrics themselves are kinda sad.

"Love, Me" is one of my favorites from when I first got into Country music and is a song that I have a hard time listening to but that doesn't take away from how amazing this song is. It reminds me of my grandparents, not necessarily the entire story but in regards to how much they loved one another and how my Grandfather took losing my Grandmother.
I'm a little too sentimental sometimes but I love this one and boo to those who ranked it low

Love, Me is stunning, and far better over some of what's left in.

I've said this too much, I know, but ooof, this next one's gonna hurt real bad. My top five (more specifically, my top three) takes another hit while a "Love, Me" tanker loses their #2 song next. Two more top fives leave next, including another #2.

well my entire Top 5 has been eliminated and I'm not too pleased so I just hope those that tanked "Love, Me" see their lowest remaining song win lol
Just kidding, I'm just happy "Love, Me" was top 10 since I was thinking it might not make it. Though I do hope "Sticks and Stones" leaves soon

Is that a whippoorwill? Bye "Midnight In Montgomery"!!!!! (Which I love, but is probably my lowest remaining rank, since I think it's in my high 20s!)

Man! This is such a hauntingly beautiful song; I remember a few members of Pulse praising it a while back and was very curious to see how it would do in a rankdown and it stayed near the top 10 for most of submissions! I mean, every aspect of this song is seriously gorgeous. I mean, this has to be one of the best-written country songs in the period of ever! However, I can see this being kinda boring for some. Oh well. Their loss.

"Midnight In Montgomery" is PHENOMENAL. I legit considered putting this as my #1. I honestly thought this had a good shot of winning, so it's sad to see that it couldn't even make the top 5. That said, at least it made the top 10, because if it wouldn't have that would have been a travesty.

"Midnight In Montgomery" is a great song and I'm sad that it is out here. I still have 2 songs left in my top 10 but hopefully they both make the Top 5!
I really hope that "Sticks and Stones" is out next. It is the only song that I don't love that is left.
I have left: 6, 7, 18, 20, 38, 44
I don't know what I was thinking with the song I ranked at 44, that I definitely underranked

I have left my 2, 6, 8, 16, and 35. Really pleased with this Top 5 overall, though I do hope my #35 goes out first (and I fully expect it to). The other 4 are incredible and I'll be okay with any of those winning.

I’m predicting Reba will win! The song of hers I placed in my top 10 that is. I didn’t realize there were this many fans of John Anderson’s “Straight Tequila Night”! It’s a phenomenal song imo! If Reba doesn’t win he would be my dark horse pick to win!

If Reba is going to win please let it be with "The Night The Light's Went Out In Georgia" and not "Is There Life Out There" even though I love them both.
TNTLWDIG >>>> ISLOT
I have my 5, 13, 30, 32, and 37 still in, That might not look too good on paper, but in such a strong year, it means I still love all the remaining songs.

I hope that Reba can take this - I don't even care what song it's with, lol.
My remaining songs: 1, 4, 7, 22, 50

Great top 5. I like all the remaining songs.
I have my 4, 7, 9, 12 and 13 still in so there is no way a bad song wins.

Very solid top 5! Looking back I would’ve placed “Sticks and Stones” just a few positions higher on my list, but it ended up doing really well anyways and derservedly so.
I have my 1, 5, 12, 19, and 37 left...and I’m feeling pretty confident about my #1!

Before I reveal anything though, lemme tell you about this top 5:
- All but one of these songs is someone's #1; two of those also has multiple #1's.
- For three of these songs, all but two people placed them in their top 40. The remaining two only has one ranking outside the top 40.
- The top three also consists of some of the lowest standard deviations of the whole rankdown!
- Huge gaps in points separate each of these songs except #2, which only beat #3 by five points. The rest have a minimum of about 40 points between each other.
- The final list switched #2 and #3 at the last minute!
- All but one of these songs also spent time in the top three throughout submissions.
- Four p-p-p-p-perfect rankings will be handed out throughout the last set.

I was hoping this could make the Top 3 at least but am happy it is in the Top 5! Love this song. Pam Tillis is amazing, eventually we'll have a RD of her singles and I see this song being a #1 contender
