She really needs to get rid of that pink hair. She finally got rid of those extensions and got a nice cut, then she had to go pink.

I always add Spanish Eyes and The Look of Love whenever i make a Madonna ballad playlist. I wish we had Live To Tell Live from Confessions Tour on Spotify. Yes Live To Tell from confessions tour is epic.

M's "Santa Baby" hangs on the Holiday 100 this week, dropping 11 spots to No. 98 (six weeks on total).
On Holiday Airplay, the track climbs four spots to No. 45* (13th week on). While her version may not compete with Eartha Kitt's original in streaming, it's the only version ranked top 50 in airplay.

Would be more fun for us chartfreaks. I saw this Holiday Pop playlist on Spotify with tons of songs by pop stars and of course this song was not on it!

^This is the first time it's spent two consecutive weeks on the top 100 since the chart became 100 positions in 2012, so that's something. :)

Has anyone heard TORN by Ava Max, there are swirling whistle sounds that remind me 100% of Hung Up and Man After Midnight. Will someone listen and tell me I'm not crazy!

Lol...I could only think of Man After Midnight when I wrote this for some reason. Off Topic, Madonna started following The Weeknd....hmmmm....Superbowl collaboration?

I liked the patch for LITERALLY a minute. The grill never really did it for me. I liked the cover of Newsweek back in 1992, but that was only one tooth wasn't it? And many of the promotional interviews for the Sex book wearing it i didn't like how she looked anyway.

I thought the gold tooth as part of her Mistress Dita character was fine for the "Erotica" video. It looked totally out of place and weird when she did that JPG event and then some of those appearances where she was channeling Edie Sedgwick.

The problem with that gold tooth was that depending on the angle or lighting, it looked sometimes more as if she was missing a tooth. The pic below is from a D&G show. But the JPG one i LOVED SO MUCH. I think i was so busy looking at her as a whole and her tits and the "scandal" of it all that didn't mind the gold tooth, ha ha.

Never have been, never will be a fan of the grillz. After so many years, that's really the only thing that irritates me.

I was okay with her nose piercing since it was so small.

I actually did not mind the gold tooth during the Erotica era. It was just one tooth and had a touch of humor to it. I just cannot with the grills. It makes her lisp when she talks and makes her lips stick out. It is just unattractive. Usually when she has a fashion statement or gimmick, she keeps it for a bit and moves on. She has now been so insistent with the grill for years...its time.

I like Lola, but I prefer her in a more natural setup. Not a fan of those pictures. But good for her. Is she a model for this brand? Or is it actually her brand?

So when was the first time you were aware of Madonna? And when did you became a big fan? In my case it was the Material Girl video. I already knew Cyndi Lauper by then and when I watched MG I remember liking very much the song, but thinking "so bad she's so formal. I wish she was more extravagant like Cyndi". Little did I know.... ha ha ha. I didn't even know the Marilyn Monroe connection in the video so I thought that was her regular wardrobe! But then when the video for Dress You Up came out I officially became NUTS about her. ;)

I was 12 years old, I have a gay older brother and he was obsessed with new wave and all the female dance singers. He had the 12β single of everybody and would play it over and over over. The he got the 12β remix of Burning Upmwith the flip side being Physical Attraction. It all started from there ;)

Since then, I canβt get enough of all her eras.

I was aware of M with the first album- I had the "Borderline" 45. However, I fell out of following the music scene, period, for a few years thereafter, and rediscovered her when "Like a Prayer" was out. And that was it. :)
