No but it could for example block Finesse in the upcoming weeks. So? Bruno's had plenty of mediocre ones. Drake's one the biggest acts of the decade (the biggest by some accounts) so let him finally have a Hot 100 #1 all to himself (no features & not featured). I've been thinking more about the fact that given the streaming records Drake will probably stay at #1 for a while. I just prefer more rotation when it comes to #1s. Ideally I would like both to get a new #1 for a short time but rn it looks like it wont happen

It's fine to have long-running number ones, it's not like they're a new thing, but it gets kind of bland seeing a new song spend 7+ weeks at number 1 with every other #1 single. Rotation keeps it a lot more interesting.

A lot of Bruno hate today, smh. The Grammys ruin everything. Finesse is still my jam. They truly do, but I think everyone needs to get off their high horse. Every time there's a Grammy upset everyone goes for the artist instead of the Grammy voters themselves, the treatment that Bruno, Ed, and Alessia are getting right now is awful. Poor Alessia had to apologize on instagram instead of celebrating because she got so much backlash, it's not her fault or any artists fault. We have a third wave of Bruno Mars cultural appropriation think pieces coming in today because of last night. Why blame the artist? This happened last year with Adele, the year before with Taylor Swift, the year before that with Beck, and the year before that with Macklemore & Daft Punk. Another year, another Grammy upset and people are back to targeting artists for winning an award they didn't vote on. I really hope these wins don't hurt Bruno's career like Billboard says it might, because he made a fantastic body of work and it might've not deserved AOTY but that's not his fault.

Psyched Bruno won. Even tho I didn’t watch any of the Grammys. If you’re old like me, you miss the days when it was all about the music, not political, and most artists got along. No one on twitter to complain about every little thing. Sad time in music and culture.

Nothing to apologize for.

^^Are the streaming changes gonna devalue that source some? I figured they'd only increase its value. :/ Which, oh my god, hip-hop would rule the chart. Just like it did in the 00's, really, but hip-hop is much more boring these days than it was back then. Seriously, Drake, sing something about a damn lollipop already.

Shape Of You is #22 in its 55th week. It might finally get pushed out next week with Migos' entries, but I'm so glad it hung on this long, and managed to beat out Praying for the Grammy. It was so much fun seeing the meltdowns at ATRL/UKMix/Popjustice/etc. :kii:

Maybe the new formula is already implemented? KEKE was projected to go outside of the top 20 and it ended up 43. Or I guess it could be YT numbers off.

Drake pulled in 3.8 million Spotify streams yesterday, so "GP" is not going away anytime soon.

Plies back on the Hot 100 again! Awesome! Hope it sticks around for some weeks.
And I just heard that NF song. Really surprised to discover that it wasn't half bad.
