Plies back on the Hot 100 again! Awesome! Hope it sticks around for some weeks. And I just heard that NF song. Really surprised to discover that it wasn't half bad. You can't say NF is bad when you like the utter trash called Look at Me, Gummo, Keke, ext. |

You can't say NF is bad when you like the utter trash called Look at Me, Gummo, Keke, ext. I can, actually. NF is bad. NF is generally considered to be one of the worst rappers among Hip-Hop fans. At the very least, among the communities I frequent. And listening to "Let You Down", it's totally understandable why he would be so universally hated. It's among the worst rap songs to debut in 2017. XXXTENTACION is polarizing, but he is also recognized as very talented and creative. Actually bringing something new to the table regularly.  |

Yeah, X is generally an incredibly versatile artist (If you've heard his snippets for his new album, it also shows a lot). I (personally) don't even think Look At Me is that bad of a song, the beat is hard and his flow isn't even bad. Lyrics, yeah, can be deemed terrible, but it's a turn-up song, not something you listen to for the lyrical content. People have their opinions on the song tho, ig. (No bias tho...). Gummo, on the other hand, is pretty damn trash, but I like it more than I should... Beat's really good, though and I can see why people hate the flow, idm it though, goes nice w the beat.

^^Are the streaming changes gonna devalue that source some? I figured they'd only increase its value. :/ Which, oh my god, hip-hop would rule the chart. Just like it did in the 00's, really, but hip-hop is much more boring these days than it was back then. Seriously, Drake, sing something about a damn lollipop already. So basically, 10 years after Lil Wayne released Lollipop, his successor would do the same? That would be one hell of a coincidence if it did happen. Then again, Plies is back, so anything’s possible. |
